Drawing conclusions to what? We went into Vietnam to make them a democracy. We went into Afghanistan and made them a democracy. We went into Iraq and made them a democracy. We WROTE JAPAN'S CONSTITUTION
and made them a democracy. We carved up Palestine and made them a democracy. We've fought to stop communism around the world, and are promoting Democracy
at every chance we get. We went into KOREA to try to make them a democracy. We denounce anyone that is not Christian or Jewish. Notice: We don't care about the Buddhist Monks in Tibet. We only care about the Jews and Christians across the world. Atheists and other places that don't share our religion or style of government are ignored wholesale. It's a known fact. Are you trolling, or do you not know our own History in the United States?
RE: Russia. Russia is not the Soviet Union. After the dissolving of the USSR we were wary to trust them and Gorbachev because of their Communist ties. Yes, I know Stalin killed more people than Hitler. (Thanks for the Godwin's Law affirmation, felt a Fox News thread was lacking something). But why did we fear Communism? We feared a Communist take over of the world and a change of power from Democratic / Capitalist Nation's. We figured that if the Red
engulfed the planet, it'd turn into Stalingrad or China. But look at Cuba. What did Castro do that was so wrong? He defeated the American Mafia members that pulled the strings of the Cuban government. They ran casinos down there and were strangling the resources / oppressing the people and making the nation even poorer than it had to be. Fidel and his people decided to take Cuba back for Cuba. They threw a Communist government in place with a Socialist Economy and it's a wrap.
But we hated him for it. Never looking at what odds he was up against. Never looking at the pros of a Mafia controlled government vs a Military controlled government. What did our forefathers in America do eh? They fought back the King right (if we want to be basic about it) and denounced his style of government and control. A few merry men
beat off the Redcoasts. Which is EXACTLY what Castro did.
I live here. I was born here and I'm from here. I'm Native, Black and Scottish Immigrant. I've seen it, I've read the books and heard the tales from people there. We're a giant hypocrite of a nation. Enslaving a race, not having equal
rights for everyone (Gays...), had women not being able to vote, non-WASPs were not considered first rate citizens. And yet, we thumb up our noses at other Nations that are doing the exact same thing.
Egypt elected that President. While 99% of you on this thread don't like ours, we elected him. That's it. You can't get mad because the people
chose someone. I'll spare you the details of why Arab Spring happened or why Qaddaffi is gone... because I believe even this post is too much for most of you to grasp.
Have a lovely day.
