No man is an island,
Entire of itself.
Each is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thine own
Or of thine friend's were.
Each man's death diminishes me,
For I am involved in mankind.
Therefore, send not to know
For whom the bell tolls,
It tolls for thee.

You are correct. My comment and response was insensitive, callous and uncalled for. A human being whom other human beings loved is deceased and at a young age and that is always a tragedy. Today I stood at my parents grave. My mother was buried 12 years ago today. The pain, though different, is as real as it was on that Friday morning when I saw her coffin at the grave. Thank you for reminding me not to send for whom the bell tolls. Although I am not a fan of rap music - I am, as you pointed out, old - I accept what you say to be true. And if you are an example, you are a good one. Peace to you ♥
