We are excited to present this breathtaking fossil softshell turtle (Axestemys byssinus) from the famous Green River Formation in Wyoming, USA. This beautiful turtle spans a jaw-dropping 6 feet long and is likely the largest specimen of its type discovered in this important locality. It was undoubtedly one of the apex predators of Fossil Lake.

We are thrilled to present one of North America's most incredible mammal fossils ever discovered.

On offer is the most complete "dawn horse" (P. venticolus) currently on record; only two horse skeletons have been discovered in Wyoming's Green River Formation. The five fish embedded in the slab are a testament to the rare circumstances that led to this land animal being buried in the middle of Fossil Lake. The details of this intriguing occurrence remain a mystery.https://www.fossilrealm.com/products/phenomenal-fossil-horse-from-the-green-river-formation

These rare amphibian skulls (Metoposaurs) are naturally layered in a dramatic sculptural position. The jaws and teeth have been preserved - which seldomly occurs - as well as other bones, including the pectoral girdles. These salamander-like creatures inhabited swamps in the present-day High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, 230 million years ago - living alongside the earliest dinosaurs.
