We are thrilled, proud, honored, exhilarated, pleased as punch, excited, tickled pink, over the moon, delighted, elated, euphoric, jumping for joy, happy as a clam, jubilant, on cloud nine and generally verklempt to announce that Gail (Rosenberg) McHugh, APR, has joined Forge Communications as our newest partner! Gail will head our office in Charlotte where she lives with her husband, Frank.

A colleague, client (three times over) and close friend, Gail just wrapped up eight years with Carolinas HealthCare System, one of the Southeast's leading healthcare organizations and one of the most comprehensive public, not-for-profit systems in the nation. While at CHS, Gail held several leadership positions in Corporate Communications, Marketing and Outreach.

Gail's history with the Forge team stretches back to 1985 when she, Ray and Roger worked together at Epley Associates, then one of the top mid-size public relations firms in the country. After being wooed away in 1989 by one of our clients, Chem-Nuclear Systems, she worked in corporate communications and marketing positions with Chem-Nuclear and Highwoods Properties. In 1999, Gail rejoined Epley Associates and headed the firm's Charlotte office until 2008.

With a wealth (to put it mildly...) of corporate, healthcare, nonprofit and government experience, Gail will blend her expertise in strategic communications, community building, reputation and issue management, and grassroots public affairs with Ray’s and Roger’s depth in reputation and brand management, market and community research, crisis communications, environmental, industrial and healthcare communications.

Throughout her career, Gail has served as a volunteer with a number of organizations and is currently on the board of the Charlotte Chamber’s Healthy Charlotte Council and the Chamber’s Metro Chapter. She also is a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Please join us in welcoming Gail back home!!!
