Final week - don't miss out.....
BULK-BILLED DIABETIC FOOT CHECK-UPS
Diabetic foot check-ups are an essential part of managing type 2 diabetes, and should be performed at least once a year. To mark National Diabetes Week, our podiatrist Megan Clarkson will perform a bulk-billed Diabetic Foot Check for anyone with a current Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) referral from their doctor. Megan’s Diabetes Foot Check will include a diabetic foot risk assessment, an assessment of the blood circulation and nerve supply in your feet and legs, and a footwear assessment. During your assessment, Megan will discuss your risk of diabetic foot complications and the steps you can take to prevent foot problems and keep your feet safe for life. You will need to see your doctor to check your EPC eligibility and request a referral, then call us on 3289 6050 for an appointment with Megan in July.
