   This looks wonderfully delicious ! I used to make a brownie cake similar to this for the 4th of July, I think I will try it this way only I will still use the brownie layer. If it isn't broke, don't fix it, right ? I used the chocolate chunk Duncan Hines family size. I used a 9x13 size pan w/a double box of mix. Baked for 23-27 mins. don't over bake them because they will be harder to cut and eat. On top of the cooled brownie I spread a mixture of vanilla pudding w/ coolwhip saving 1/2 the c/w for the white stripe of the flag. After the pudding layer I would lay a stripe of strawberry slices then a stripe of c/w,  I would lay the blueberries in the upper left hand corner  for the bonnie blue of the flag and use a star tipped pastry bag for the stars filled w/ coolwhip. yum!
