Flying Rolls is very good overall and reasonably priced. The sushi rolls are creative and unique, and one might be apprehensive about trying some of them. I've tried a number of them - traditional as well as the fruit and dessert ones - and I haven't been disappointed. The teriyaki bowls, particularly the steak one, are terrific. The rice is perfect and the steak is tender. The miso soup is a bit on the salty side, and I think the California roll runs a bit spicy.I love that they deliver, but the restaurant has a great atmosphere as well. I recommend it.

The restaurant itself was very clean and was decorated nicely, and the staff were friendly and attentive. No complaints at all with regard to the staff or the venue. However, the miso soup was HORRIBLY salty, and the eel roll was, well, "meh." It didn't taste bad, but it certainly didn't taste good. Like the other reviewer said, it was bland.

Fast, casual, free wifi, and great value. I love the stainless clean feel that you don't see at other places. This is not a typical sushi buffett sort of mid-west place where you feel dirty walking in it. The staff is wonderful, the menu is great, and you get big portions. Make sure to snap a "selfie" with Miss Lulu to get your 10% discount at the front door (secret local knowledge from the staff). I had never ordered sushi like a subway sub. You get to pick different items so you can build your favorite roll with your vegie choice, meat etc... My wife loved the skinny rolls. My kids love the kids menu and they have crayons/twisty stix for the kids to play while we ate. Living in the West End, they deliver which will be great and the rewards program they are building will be like Driunken Fish but better they say. They nailed it and we will be back.

This is a new sushi concept appealing to both sushi & non-sushi lovers. It has a very sleek, modern meets old vibe and has integrated tech into the whole experience. Digital ordering on kiosks and soon on your phone like Panera, TV menus, free wifi and outlets to charge all of your devices..etc - very cool! This is the first food option that hits the spot and doesn't give me a food "hangover" = super healthy and delicious

Great service, with awesome specialty rolls. I'd highly recommend to anyone that loves rolls. Check out the bacon and egg roll- it is so good!! Worth the trip alone for that!

The decor at the place is okay but the food is absolutely awful. Quality of rolls were all over the place, but were mostly flavorless and mushy. Whoever's in charge of food clearly has never made or had good sushi before. Also, for those of you wondering why the place already has three five star reviews, two of those have been made by owners of the restaurant, which is pretty low in my opinion.
