Ok, first off, I never write reviews, but I thought it may help to get this place back in shape. My brother went back in 1983 a year after it was built and raved about it. I went back in 92 and raved about it. I was allowed to go all the way to the top with no problems. I brought my son and daughter this week and while the concept is still awesome, the facilities need ALOT of work. I would venture to guess that nothing has been maintained over the past 30+ years. The wire frame that you stand on is all messed up, there were exposed broken wires that my daughter cut herself on. The suits were dirty and ripped. The padding in the chamber was torn and in some places missing. Every time my son or daughter would start to float above 5' the guide would throw them down to the side (evidently they did not want them to get to high due to the wire frame (Ceiling) that was in the same condition as the floor. @~$50 / person, it was overpriced for the conditions of the facility. I am hoping the owners read this review and tear down this place and build a new updated facility.

Great experience. Go early and get a flight time - they have limited availability each day. Our instructor was great. He worked with everyone. We had a group of 4 with 2 children, boys and girls. Our 13 year old son had a great time. The wind is loud and they provide earplugs. Make sure you get those installed well. Most of us lost one of them. Crew neck shirts are the best. Wear athletic shoes that lace tightly. If you have a larger party - 5 or more, you can book a block flight - it is good deal. Enjoy.

This is the FIRST wind tunnel in america and yes maybe a little outdated but its so much fun. I had Ryan as an instructor and he was awesome. He made me feel very comfortable and i had a great time! Hope I can go and do this again this weekend. ASK FOR RYAN!!!

Very enjoyable and time/money well spent. The staff was very friendly, funny, and helpful. The wind suite made it a little warm in the wind tunnel but it was not unbarable. A little soreness and a small bruise or 2 are to be expected, but are wort it. Will definatley do it again.

THIS IS DANGEROUS. The operators are NOT in control. My son went way too high for his first experience and came crashing down over 15 ft onto an exposed metal connector that holds the 'trampoline-like" floor in place and broke his elbow. Medical bills are astronomical as this will require SURGERY to put a screw in the joint.
