The Business of War
by Florin Bodin

In 1960, it was the vietnamese were called various racist names, they were the terrorists of that time, now the war moved to the Middle East. The imaginary war on terror exists only to maintain the state of fear and insecurity of the american people and to deeply implement the idea that the government is always right and takes care of its people. Do you consider living in fear and insecurity as normal? Why a war on terror and not peace discussions, social studies, and understandings of the muslim world? Because there is no PROFIT in that.

Our governments and the powerful and influent people behind them, want you to believe that there is no other way than war and distruction to resolve conflicts, more on the idea, creating a war sounds even more exciting. There is good money to be made out of the war, mainly out of weapons supply, but also reconstruction contracts and of course, the spoils of the war, the resources acquired.

This propaganda and mentality was slowly implemented in the United States and has moved and spread in Europe faster than McDonald's and KFC. The European Union took care that the european people agree with the United State's 'war on terror' actions. So it all aligns and the mentality grows globally like a cancer.

It never was about war and hate, it is all about making business and profit. The human implication and casualties are considered 'production loss'. It will always be cheap and acceptable to build a monument of war heroes. The government is your friend, it respects its perished young soldiers fighting poor people who have only their faith and a goat or a camel, the government wants to protect you from these people. In the end, PROFIT is done, it is time to figure out and discuss the next strategy and maneuvers to acquire more and other resources.

People never wanted wars. People want cures for diseases and obesity, the end of food deprivation, starvation in poor countries and no more homeless people on the streets. But again, where is the PROFIT in all of these? Either is very low, either is too complicated to deal with and easier methods to produce money can be found, like a war.

The Social Control.

What is Islam? What is a muslim? A muslim is a person who follows the religion of Islam, therefore a muslim is like a Christian who follows Christianity. But things are not as they should be because in these times of war and hatred, the mentality of most of the people and their governments is different. A muslim person is a terrorist. This idea implemented by our governments turned into a real and colossal hate after the 9/11 incident.
The social separation exists in the fact that our governments don’t want us to be friends with the muslims because there wouldn’t be an enemy, there wouldn’t be a war and no resources to acquire after their extermination.
The Islamic Fundamentalism can be called at this moment, the exact opposite of today’s modern american and european lifestyle and mentality. We have all the technology and appliances taken on bank credit, the big house with a stable mortgage, simply called debt. We have brand name clothing, jewellery and designer perfumes. But one thing is missing, the unity of the people and faith. This last argument means that all our possessions and our easy lifestyle has made us more aware of our personal and material aspects and the very different lifestyles and amount of richness of each individual turned the population into selfish robots, slaves of their own lifestyle.
You would ask where is the problem in this? The problem is that this action breaks us apart and our social relations grow weaker. Again, you would ask where is the problem? Well, someone a long time ago said that ‘the power is in the people’, it means that people united gain power. In these times, our governments want the exact opposite, they want more individualism because people united can grow ideas and are harder to control by the government.
Going back to the Islamic Fundamentalism, it could be the last enemy of the American capitalism and the European Union, the 2 pillars of globalization, the great empire. The Islamic Fundamentalism was always seen with bad eyes by the American people and later by the European citizens because this was the idea to make it look like a religious evil and or fanatic movement. At this moment, in the year of 2011, the Islamic Fundamentalism is the last enemy of the American capitalism and the globalization. Why? Because the muslims don’t want the brand name clothing and designer perfumes or the expensive cars and appliances and fast food restaurants that the United States and European Union has to offer. This is a problem for the governments, they cannot open a market there, they cannot sell there, they cannot create debt and make slaves out of the muslims, so they turned to the last possibility, implementing their way of life and mentality by force by declaring war to the Islam, the so-called war on terror. The Islamic world foreseen their actions and on 9/11 they destroyed the World Trade Center and now threatening to soon attack the Wall Street banks. Why are the muslims attacking only economical objectives? They knew that by destroying the WTC, they wouldn’t collapse the economy. But, then again, maybe it was an alarm signal for everyone.
You wil never see initiatives of peace discussions and missions of understanding the Islamic world and the muslims because they will never buy brand name tennis shoes and iphones or shop at Wallmart, but on the other hand, under their feet, there is black gold and other resources to be acquire.

The math in this sentence is easy.

Hey Edmund, I believe in what you say and think, I am talking mostly about the american government and the corporations that go hand in hand with the government. We, the people, have little say and not too much power against them..

@prizes.org, Thank you! I really appreciate it, You have a good eye :)
