Witness the magical stain-protection power of Shaw carpet with R2X stain & soil protection. Shaw's patented and exclusive R2X system provides protection from the top to the bottom of the yarn. It offers unprecedented protection against household spills and everyday soiling. With R2X, spills that reach the base of the yarn don't penetrate and wick back to the top as they do with conventional solutions.

To the current snap and lock together, which is easier to install, but not as moisture resistant and lower quality MDF laminate core boards. Moisture and standing water from snowy or wet shoes, to the dogs water bowl has cause many issues, cause the laminate to swell, leaving an eye soar at the seams.
