Yes. She loves to write and feels passionately about the subject.

Please wish me luck tomorrow. I am representing the USA as part of a panel of webinar presenters to almost 200 teachers around the world. Excited, honored and a bit nervous. 😀

I’ve been doing a Newton’s Third Law example where I slam my body into a wall for 15 years. My new room had no wall space, so I used the door. Whoops. The force of my body smashed the door through the door frame. 😳

On many occasions I have been asked about my approach to physics labs. Considering I don’t feel any particular philosophy is the “best” one, I asked other physics teachers to join me in this video. Therefore today’s video is a collaboration with five physics teachers: “Six Teacher Approaches to Physics Labs”. Thank you very much to Laura Zeller, Shaun Thomas, Will Segal, Janel Morris, and Nick Sourvelis for collaborating with me on this project! #APPhysics1 #PhysicsED https://youtu.be/2Q58ZriSCeI

Thought I'd let everyone know the "Flipping the Classroom Around the World" webinar went well. It was a bit surreal sitting at my desk, speaking to people from all over the planet and collaborating with 6 other presenters. One of the most fun moments was actually not during the presentation; the presenters were all comparing weather. Evidently Australia and South Africa are very nice this time of year and Belgium and Germany look about the same as Michigan. Seriously, it was interesting to hear different perspectives about the Flipped Classroom and amazing how much we all agreed with one another on pedagogical approaches!

I have completed lecture notes and scripts for four videos I am planning to film on Monday-Wednesday, 2016.12.05-07. If you have time and inclination, it would be nice to get feedback before I film them!

Now it’s time to demonstrate an elastic collision.
A big thank you to Mr. Becke for being a guest in today’s video!
