To reflect the growth and expansion of our practice, Central Florida Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center has changed our name to Florida Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers.

“We changed the name because we now have more clinics available and are caring for patients from a broader region,” said Wade Foster, MD and owner of the practice. “What hasn’t changed is our commitment to customer service and to offering the newest and best treatments to care for our patients’ skin.”

Florida Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers’ six clinic locations offer comprehensive services in general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Foster and his associate Andrew Styperek, MD, are among the area’s few physicians with Fellowship training in Mohs (micrographic) skin cancer surgery. Dr. Foster explained, “The Mohs Fellowship gives more hands-on experience in a wider variety of complex cases than a dermatologist or surgeon would get in their residency. For example, we participated in a minimum of 500 Mohs surgery cases to achieve the Fellowship certification.” Mohs surgery is highly effective with minimal discomfort and greater preservation of normal tissue.

Raymond Knisley, DO, provides medical and surgical dermatology in the Lake Wales office. In addition to general dermatology and skin cancer treatment, other Florida Dermatology services include a uniquely luxurious spa in the Winter Haven clinic, hair restoration, and a full array of cosmetic procedures, including Botox. Clinic locations are in Winter Haven, Davenport, Lake Wales, Wauchula, Leesburg, and most recently, Tamarac.

“We appreciate the support we’ve received in the communities we serve, which has allowed us to grow. Our team is proud to deliver the same great care you expect to more people,” said Dr. Foster.
