Our newest discovery comes from a small vineyard in Naoussa; Foundi Naoussea Xinomavro 2008 is by far the best Xinomavro value we have tasted thus far...
91pts by wine spectator and at $17 a bottle this is a real steal!

Did you know? On the holy peninsula of Mount Athos, monks chant "Christos anesti—Christ is risen" during a midnight vigil. This Easter gathering ends seven weeks of solemn fasting. Monks rise to pray during the quietest hours of the night because that is when they believe the heart is most open.

Salad for Breakfast? YES!
Cereal. Yogurt. Omelets. Zzz. Let's toss things up—literally. Making your first meal of the day a salad might sound a little strange, but it's actually a no-brainer. You'll score antioxidants, filling fiber, and a gaggle of vitamins and minerals, all in a low-cal dish that will help you power through your nine-to-five and beyond. These tasty ideas also satisfy a huge chunk of your daily veggie quota. Don't want to totally kick your traditional breakfasts to the curb? No worries—we still snuck in your favorite morning flavors.

We tried this recipe and we have to admit that it tastes delicious...light, moist and absolutely refreshing, this dessert is ideal for a nice evening on the deck enjoyed along with some Greek coffee.

Authentic Greek foods and Greek wines are finally within your grasp through FlavorTeaze’s authentic Greek foods website. Unlike so many online merchants who use the "Greek" and "Mediterranean" terms to promote their products because of the trends, Flavorteaze.com offers imported products with PDO and PGI designations shipped directly from Greece.  By ordering through us, you can enjoy authentic Greek foods easily and quickly, without having to sift through all of the impostor products. Try our authentic Greek cheeses such as Feta, Kasseri, Manouri, Graviera and more…we guarantee they will pleasantly surprise you and make you a fan! If you are ready for some new wine adventures try our Greek wines from Kir-Yianni Ramnista Xinomavro, a great alternative to a Pinot Noir, to the full aromas of Assyrtiko & Athiri of  Santorini. Browse our selections at FlavorTeaze.com

Cheers!
