This day in history - July 28, 1929 - Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis is born in Southampton, New York. Jackie, as most called her, was married to our 35th President John F. Kennedy. She is one of the most beloved First Ladies to date even though she was in the role for such a short time. During her time in the White House she won the public's adoration with her high fashion and the restoration of the White House. The very public assassination of JFK thrust her into a spotlight which she could never hide from. #tdih
