Graduated in 1968 with a B triple E -- Electrical and Electronic Engineering. With that, he made his "field" large corporate information technology systems -- programming, IT / IS architecture, BPR, security, and recovery. He did a hitch in the Air Force at the National Security Agency where he was awarded the Joint Service Commedation Medal for the computer represntation of non-English non-Cyrilic langauges. In the "big" part of his career, he has managed large staffs (i.e., 290 real people in 22 states plus a bunch more "equivalents") and big budgets (i.e., 90M$ capital and 45M$ expense). In the "small" part, he was in his own consulting business three different times where he paid taxes on what he describes as mid six figure incomes. He's retired from Merrill Lynch a decade ago and unretired at his wife's request six months later after driving her crazy. He's known to many Jasper alumni and students as the "Collector in Chief" of Jasper Jottings that he started in 1986. He cronicles weekly what he calls "the achievement journal of my fellow alums". For fun, he has just completed his first self-published novel "It Started In Church - October 19th, 1962". A self-described Myers-Briggs ISTJ he's left his burrow to be with us today.
