If you ever drop your cellphone or iPhone in water, you should avoid initially trying to turn it on or charge it. If you can't take it to a repair shop that can open it up and get the water out safely within about 24 hours or so you can try using a hand-dryer or a hair-dryer to blow air into the phone's openings to help dry out the phone's innards. Rice does nothing to absorb the water inside a phone. But your best bet is to get the phone to a repair should within about 24 hours or so and they can usually get by with a basic water damage treatment to flush the water and contaminants out. You may also need to have a few things replaced (screen, battery, charging port are the usual suspects), but if you can get the phone cleaned before corrosion sets in then you'll significantly improve the phone's chances of living a long, happy life.

Still just rumors at this point but it'll be interesting to see how it actually turns out. BTW, if you find yourself confused by the upcoming iPhone, don't forget that they're planning 2, or 3 different phones for release this year: the updated 7 series, presumably the 7S and 7S Plus, and also this 10th anniversary version, the "iPhone 8". Of course it's always impossible to know exactly what Apple is going to do with their new phone releases but that's the word on the street so far.

Has your iPhone been run over by a car (literally?) No problem! In most cases, all it needs is a screen replacement, which is $79 (for LCD repair with an appointment) on this iPhone 5. Check the price of screen repair on your iPhone model here: https://www.fixncell.com/iphone-screen-repair.html

If you don't see your iPhone Screen Repair listed on the schedule or the schedule on the ones for the individual repairs show the first appointment being a few days out that means we're out of stock. Give us a call if that's that case as we probably will be getting them in stock sooner than the scheduler indicates. Right now for example we are running low or out of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 6S Plus screens but we will be getting them in tomorrow.
