5 Excellent Ways to Stay Motivated to Lose Weight - If you want long term success, you need to make sure your aims are sensible and your strategy is achievable. Work in smaller achievable chunks and celebrate your small wins. Work slowly and consistently, this would help build confidence to go forward.
Always make realistic goals to achieve success. Ann Kulze (author of 10 step diet) says “If you are making unrealistic goals you are setting yourself up to fail.” This is true because unrealistic targets would badly discourage you to work harder. If you want long term success, you need to make sure your aims are sensible and your strategy is Continue Reading

Very concerned that in the pool area has no shower. It has been out for months. Really, I spoke to Mgt at the gym several times. They say it is Corp office fault why it isn't fixed. . That they have to get parts from a single company. Other members have been told the part has to come from China. I watched today in the pool area, family day. Gym had employees in the pool area to watch the kids. 2 different employees back area sitting. Looking at their cell phones never looking up. I had to get their attention 2 times I pointed out 4 different people went from Steam Room into the pool. Not once did the employees go re-educate the persons, If they are to shy to do it. Then they should be able to tell a Mngr. lol not there ever. This is a huge health issue. Just because you hang signs means nothing. If not in forced. When I see a member coming into pool area that hasn't showered, I kindly ask them to please shower first. Point to the hose in the corner.. That is what we use for the ones that shower. Huge health issue.

I have had nothing but a fantastic experience at this gym. I was helped by Chris the Fitness Manager. He was very knowledgeable of what I was looking for. He explained what I needed to do to achieve my goals. He scheduled me for an assessment to go more in detail. I will say very positive, etichial, and very nice staff.

Child care center is a joke. I have watched multiple times where my son who isn't even a year old was hit and pushed and etc by the older kids because they didn't have him in the baby area or watching him. I say something and they say they are under staffed which I don't understand how because you make an appointment to drop your kids off. I canceled my contract with them a month ago (march) and now they are trying to charge me $40 annual fee after charging me for april as well. When I tried to call and find out why there wasn't a manager there both times. They ignore you when you walk in. Half the time I waited for 10min at register to check in and ended up just walking off and starting my workout instead of waiting longer. You get a physical evaluation/personal training free a month but the guy I got just wanted to talk about my ass and how good it looked and etc and how he loves a firm one and blah blah. It was super offensive especially since I told him multiple times I have a boyfriend and a family. I would not recommend this place at all! I went to the one off camelback and 101

i haggled for the price i wanted which will give a good rating in that regard, some of the people that workout there are somewhat rude, and some people try to size you up sometimes with how they look at you. But i think thats regular human nature. The free weights are really nice, the machines are equally as nice.... i cant say anything about the classes because i only focus on moving iron... some parts of the free weight section can get packed but its not unbearable.. but i like this gym... get huge...

These people are scam artists. They auto renew you for personal training, even when you say you don't want anymore. They take hundreds out of your account for services you did not receive and won't receive since you cancelled their services. They don't even show you a contract. They wait until what you agreed to has ended and then they tell you that they went ahead and renewed you and you have to pay no matter what. Do not go to this gym. I will be contacting a lawyer shortly. Do not let them do this to you.

First, Id like to say when I signed up and they gave me the tour I really thought highly of Fitness Works. I liked what they were telling me as well as how the gym looked. Seemed like it would be a place that fits my family's needs and wants from a gym. Soon after working out there, I noticed many of the machines were out of order. Every time I would go, no one would smile... Ask if you needed anything etc. My son is almost 3 and I take him to the kid zone. He was loving it for the first couple times... then I noticed he didn't want to go in there anymore. He was saying that they are mean to him. I'm considering the source of a almost 3 year old, but he is such a loving happy kid that I know something must have happened for him to say that. All these things started to bother me and now I'm at my limit. They charged $119.97 to my account without my consent. They stated I signed the agreement when I signed up, but that information was not presented to me. I understand why they make you pay first and last because of the no contract... but the service fee of $39 a person once a year just doesn't make sense to me. If I would have known this, I probably wouldn't be so angry. Customer service is key to a business and this is something Fitness Works DOES NOT HAVE! No compassion for their customers. I will no longer be a customer there and I will find somewhere that actually cares about their customers and listens to them. I don't think its right to take advantage of people & I hope that they can turn that around for the VERY FEW customers they will have going forward.

This gym is like walking into a used car lot. The best they can offer is excuses, broken equipment, and trainers that don't have a clue about human anatomy. This gym wants to extort money from it's members. The leadership is the worst. They won't let me cancel my membership due to it being paid in full and then wanting more money when I caught them trying to cheat me on the cost of the membership. When I called the corporate office this morning I was advised that I wouldn't be getting a refund if I cancelled my membership. Given this I just cancelled my debit card. These people are snakes. Stay away from them they are another high pressure sales department.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU FIND ANOTHER GYM we have had nothing but a terrible experience with this gym. when we first signed up the person who helped us was nothing but a b-s-er.after that my fiance was signed up for a custom payment plan for training. which was never followed. we had money taken out of our account 2 times causing overdraft fees both times. we got those taken care of minus the overdraft fees. we decided to canel the membership due to recent life changes and it takes 30 days to process a request so we have been charged for this final month. today i looked at our bank acct and they are pulling another 120 from us. im going to the better business bureau.
