God never fails us. The people of Moses waited 40 years, lost in the desert, but God kept his promise and delivered them to their Promised Land. Today, in the midst of our own daily struggles, God is still with us and He will deliver us. Listen to His Son Jesus, and Trust Him. (This video is CLOSE CAPTIONED for the hearing impaired.)

Rend Our Hearts - God wants to fill us with His bountiful JOY, FORGIVENESS, GRACE, MERCY, and LOVE and EXPAND our hearts. Question: what prevents us from being filled? Answer: the world. We have the same amount of time in a given day than Moses and Jesus, to come closer and pursue a relationship with God but we are easily distracted by wanting and desiring things we do not need. During this Lenten Season, let us open our hearts, return to the Lord and be intentional in the discipline of Lent to receive the fullness of God's love and grace. (Pass the word that our sermons are CLOSE CAPTIONED for the hearing impaired - just click on the CC button below the video.)

God Meets Us Daily In The Reality of Life In Our Home
Let the message of God's love speak to your heart, and let us show that love by serving others in our REAL LIFE. God meets each of in the realities of our lives, in the daily family dynamics that we all have - not in some faraway special place. Our own home is where we are called for repentance (change of heart and mind) and called into the presence of God's love for us so that we may serve one another as Jesus showed us how.

TRANSFIGURATION and Us
Our sermon by Rev. Rhoades is now closed captioned (CC) for the hearing impaired. Please pass this along as we extend our ministry to those who do not hear well enough to attend worship service. In the Gospel of John today, we learn that the disciples Peter, James, and John climb a high mountain and witnessed Jesus becoming radiant in glory - TRANSFIGURED - as a voice from God pronounced that Jesus is truly His Son. Today, this same word of God speaks to us to change, be transfigured - not in dramatic form among high mountain tops - but rather within the peaks and valleys of our daily common life where we live. This is where God walks with us, this is where He meets us. So let us listen to Him and let his Word transfigure you and me to redirect our lives for His glory to help others find their way until the coming of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

Joyfull Noise Seeking Musicians
Join "Koonskin" Kelsey, director of JOYFUL NOISE, as she ventures into the wilderness in search of every nook and cranny for lost and orphaned musicians. Musicians are a dwindling species, but we know they are out there suffering alone with no one to play with and no audience to play for. So, come join us!

DISCLAIMER FROM THE PRODUCER: No wild musicians were harmed during the making of this very serious and award winning (almost) documentary video.

Nah, they all just wandered away on the own free will.

But we think we shed some serious light on the plight (that ryhmes, eh?) on finding and rescuing our endangered musical species in this vast wasteland of intelligent earth where humans would rather watch endless video of a cat (a domesticated one, sigh) playing a piano, rather than, you know, like, actually try to discover some musical abilities of their own.

So, if you, or a loved one (or someone you are just trying to get out of your hair) is a wild or orphaned musician with no one to play with and no audience to play for, then, hey...

Contact "Koonskin" Kelsey at her 24 Hour Hotline Service For Lost Musicians at 1-800- ....no wait, scratch that, please just visit the website listed below and use the Contact form to find out about JOYFUL NOISE.

We have FUN and bring GLORY to God and JOY to people here on Galveston Island.

But, let's define "happiness". That is a word that bothers me. Is it...hey, I better end this now...my seafood gumbo is ready. Later gator...thanks for watching and SHARING this. Together we can save the world, one musician at a time! YES!!
