This week's #ThrowbackThursday is "A Short History of Asbury Theological Seminary." This digital resources was revised and published in 2013 as part of the Asbury Theological Seminary 90th Anniversary Publications Series. The series includes five books, three from the 40th Anniversary, and two from the 50th Anniversary. It also includes 16 audio recordings from the 50th Anniversary Special Lecture Series and Celebration from March 11-15, 1974. We at First Fruits Press would like to take the time to again recognize "Holiness Through the Ages: An Historic Reader of Christian Writers on Holiness." Edited by Robert E. Coleman, Robert A. Danielson, and Faith E. Parry.
This is a collection of 19 abridged works with biographical introductions from many influential writers regarding holiness. The writers in this book come from various church traditions, some of whom are Brother Lawrence, John Wesley, D.L. Moody, Phoebe Palmer, and many more.

This week's #throwback is Frank Bateman Stanger's "He Healed Them: The Church’s Ministry of Healing." Stanger was the 3rd president of  Asbury Theological Seminary from 1962 to 1982. Like all our books, you can download this book for free from our website. "He Healed Them" is also one of many books we are giving away in our Raffle on the Kentucky Campus.

We would like to highlight "A Biographical Sketch of Henry Clay Morrison, D.D.: the Man and his Ministry."  HC Morrison became President of +Asbury University  in 1910.  He later founded +Asbury Theological Seminary  in 1923.
