Fire and Spice surprises the curious customer at every turn: an entire wall of hot sauce, such as I have rarely seen; a vast selection of sauces and marinades and seasonings and any kind of accompaniment you could imagine (with the possible exception of ketchup); local goods like pickles, breadings, seasonings; a huge selection of NC wines and international wines (carefully selected), that Tommy can personally tell you about; woozies (coozies for your wine glass), steel wine glasses, plates, serving dishes, cookbooks, kitchen soaps, dish towels, storage bins...it goes on and on. Although a tiny little store, it is packed with incredible finds and well worth the visit. They also have wine tastings most Fri and Sat afternoons.
