Who wants +Google Glass ?!

Today’s the day to become a Glass Explorer

We let the cat out of the bag, you marked your calendars, and the time has finally arrived. If you're a US resident who is 18+, you can purchase Glass and join the Explorer Program at glass.google.com/getglass

The Explorer bundle costs $1500+tax and includes your favorite shade or frame, a charger, pouch, hard case and mono earbud. As an Explorer, your feedback will help to shape how Glass evolves over time.

We’ve got a limited number of spots available, so don’t wait too long – we can't wait to meet you and hear about your first adventures with Glass.

Fine dining in the heart of Soho with a stained glass window setting in the building where Karl Marx wrote Das Kapital. I love the rejuvenated traditional british coastal menu as the restaurant finds itself under new management. Go for the grilled whole Mackerel with pickled gooseberries, the best fresh mackerel I've ver eaten in a restaurant.

I love the simplicity of Honest burgers, perfectly cooked burgers in brioche buns served with fries tossed in a little oil and rosemary, watered down with zesty homemade lemonade. Be prepared to wait for it though. I've been given two hour waiting times the last two times I've tried to go there. Although they've solved this a bit with a neat app that pings your phone the expected waiting time I'd like to be able to reserve at least some of their seats.

The perfect Soho spot before a night out in London. The restaurant is laid out like a 1950's NYC bar with dim lights for atmosphere and high stools for diners. You're greeted on arrival with a cup of salty popcorn and a grand selection of cocktails and beers. For starters I recommend the egg and soldiers as well as the buttermilk chicken thighs. Then it's all about the mini-burger mains and thin chips. Will definitely come back.

Fresh, delicious, healthy and great value Lebanese food in the heart of Chelsea. Sit up at the bar, grab a few items on the menu and enjoy. I particularly like the chicken skewers and fresh salads, as well as the lamb and houmous.

I've been here for both breakfast and lunch servings outside. Although the setting is a wonderful outdoor space, the queue for being seated as well as the lousy service really disappoints. The menu is also overpriced for what it is, and staff often look unhappy and stressed, which makes customers feel uncomfortable. Overall it seems like the food and service are almost allowed to slip because people want to be seen at this Chelsea establishment. Could be so much better!

My favourite fish restaurant in London, hands down! Sheekey's always seems to find a space for you when you walk in off the street without a booking. Sit up at the bar and enjoy the company of the waiters and chefs around you as they shuck oysters and prepare the wonderful tapas sized dishes on the bar menu. From warm bread to start, through to fresh shellfish and salad dishes, all the way to the hearty fish pie, with home made truffles with your expresso at the end, Sheekey's delivers time and time again!

Great local pub in the summertime, with large beer garden as well as tables overlooking the park. Spacious area upstairs too for private functions.
