Police officers often have the mindset "guilty until proven innocent" which is why you should never speak to the police unless you have an attorney present!

A nearly month-long robbery spree that spanned two counties has ended Tuesday with the arrests of three men, officials said.

Joshua Ruiz, 24,Antonio Sanchez , 18,and Steven Holt, 26, face 10 counts each of robbery with a firearm, said Jeff Williamson, sheriff's spokesman.

Waldo, FL Police Chief Mike Szabo was recently suspended after a number of officers came forward alleging that he implemented speeding ticket quotas, which are illegal in the state of Florida.

He required all officers to issue 12 tickets in each 12 hour shift.

It appears that what many have suspected for years, has now been made public—and a Waldo, Florida police chief has been suspended as a result. Called the Compassionate Medical Cannabis Act, the law legalizes the use of a very low THC strain of a type of marijuana called Charlotte’s Web for use of a handful of serious illnesses, namely epilepsy, cancer and Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

Volusia County Sheriff’s deputies say they have arrested a woman for allegedly stealing electricity from the county for 4-years.

Police say Iris Corredor was responsible for managing bills at her elderly father’s home in Deltona. Officials say since August 2010, invoices from Duke Energy were in the amount of just $9.88 because the home’s electric meter had not registered any energy consumption.

On Tuesday, deputies say Duke Energy confirmed the theft when their investigators went to the home and discovered the electric meter had been tampered with. Duke Energy estimates the stolen electricity to total to an approximated $11,000.

A man was killed and a woman was wounded late Sunday in a "justifiable" shooting outside an Orlando home, according to deputies.

The shooting, possibly sparked by a man and his ex-girlfriend, occurred just before midnight on Falling Water Drive in the Hiawassee Hills subdivision in Pine Hills.

Orange County sheriff's deputies said a group of men and women arrived at the home and got into an argument with residents inside.  The argument turned into a fight and several shots were fired between two people, deputies said.

I managed to rack up over $1,000 worth of toll violations when I lived in Orlando and was a student at UCF...David Haenel was able to fight the the charges and got all of the toll violations dropped! Obviously I was ecstatic that I didnt have to be all those ridiculous fines for a .75 cent toll. I highly recommend these guys.

Got a DUI on I4 coming through Orlando while away on business. I didn't think I had that much but the police thought I was impaired. I called Finebloom & Haenel and they ended up getting the case dismissed because of a technicality. I'll never do it again but I'm grateful that they were there for me. It could have been bad.

WEBSITE IS MISLEADING, (you tube video) CLAIMS YOU CAN ASSIST PEOPLE WITH AN OUT OF STATE SUSPENDED LICENSE ???????? WHEN YOU CALL, THEY TELL YOU SORRY GO BACK TO YOUR STATE WHERE TRAFFIC TICKETS ARE FROM. REVIEW THUMBS DOWN!!!!!
Response from the owner - a year ago
Hello, Thank you for your review and bringing this to our attention. However, I believe there may have been some confusion in regards to this situation. As Florida Lawyers we can only handle legal issues within the state of Florida and have never made a claim to be able to handle tickets, suspended licenses or any other matter in any other states. We do handle issues for out of state drivers who may have been visiting Florida on vacation or were here on business and they may have received a traffic ticket during their time here which may be causing their home state license to be suspended. In these instances we can fight only the traffic citations issued here in Florida to try to remove any points which may be able to clear up the suspension in the home state. I sincerely apologize for the confusion and any inconvenience this may have caused you. If you would like to discuss this matter in more detail please feel free to call our office anytime. Best Regards, Finebloom, Haenel & Higgins P.A.
