COMMISSION CALCULATION IN EXCEL

It is possible to calculate sales commissions with tiered rates and product groups in Excel. Following steps show how:

Commission scenario explained in:

1) Download and install new release (R105) of the Excel add-in for Table Functions (Finaquant in Excel):
http://finaquant.com/products/excel-add-in-for-table-valued-functions

2) Run Table Function named "Create Test Tables" to generate the four input tables that are required for the commission calculation.

3) Run Table Function named "Calculate Sales Commissions" after selecting and entering proper parameters into the parameter form as shown in the image below.

Two output tables will be generated:
* Commissions per Product Pool, and
* Commissions per Dealer
