Is the golden age of the business degree over?
Business degrees are on the nose. Application rates have slowed and latest university data suggests many of the brightest students are choosing careers in other fields, like health.

People are being driven towards specialized degrees for obvious reasons. General skills and business knowledge can be attained through intense practical experience and/or training sessions. Having a specialized degree such as engineering can also be applied to the business world, utilizing a unique perspective on business. Other sectors such as the growth in the health sector are driven merely by necessity, and the like.
if you have a degree you can be sue'd,a reason for not having in the first place, with the depression and recession it will be insurance that demands accountability of business practice hence a dual edged sword depending whether you are in politics...larry
