The apartments are nice and spacious. If you're looking for a safe location with a nice looking residence, these fit that description. Now on to the terrible experience with the property staff and management. We were lied to repeatedly by the staff from the second we began working with them. I was in between scheduled work for a month so I was without a paycheck for a short time, which I plainly told them my situation before we signed any papers or paid any money. They assured us that they would work with us and acted really nice and like they really wanted to work with us. Then the problems started. Any time we tried to update them on our situation, the manager was supposedly on lunch or on a phone meeting, even though she was visibly sitting in the next room doing nothing. So then I tried to talk them multiple times about working there at the apartment complex as there were open positions: this would bring income as well as give us a discount on rent. They never gave me a second thought. Then I applied for a hardship grant for rent which required a lot of paperwork, and the declined to talk to the grant company because they didn't know who it was. We made every effort possible to try to work with them to catch up on payment and it appeared that they intentionally blocked our efforts to make payment to them. They were always extremely rude and somewhat hateful. If you want someone who will work with you after you move in, steer very clear of this place. RENTER BEWARE!!

Don't rent in these apartments! Don't even visit them. They have a scam with a tow company and will tow your car even if you are just a visitor and there is really nothing you can do about it but pay their exorbitant fees to get it back. Hopefully this will cost them some business and more than the $185.00 scam they have going.

This is the worst place ever. The crime is unbelievable. The lack of customer service is shocking with the high prices they charge for such crappy apartments.

Granted, we have only lived here a short time. That being said, we have really enjoyed it thus far. Call me what you will, but I won't live anywhere that isn't new, so the newest phase, 5, has been very nice. Our apartment is great; closet space is huge. Appliances are great. I would recommend getting the garage simply because it offers more space for storage and you don't realize how much you need it until you have nowhere to store anything! The office staff has been nice to us; they actually had a pricing mess up when we first inquired about living here, and they honored the original deal they were going to give us. We moved here from another city; we were nervous about moving to Memphis in general but we have just come to the conclusion that there is crime everywhere. Someone's tires got stolen in front of our apartment, but everyone I know that lives in a gated community around this area has had the same thing happen. Again, pay the few extra bucks for the garage; it's worth it. Only complaint about the community is the random breaks in the fences. I don't really understand what the point is of having a gate if there are just going to be random openings to let people in. As far as the previous comment below about towing, they tell you when you sign your lease that you can only park in specific spaces or your car will be towed; it's not a big trick on anyone. So far we have loved it! If you are skeptical, go ask to tour the phase 5; it's well worth it.

Lived here for 2 years now, and I've had my door kicked in, and my neighbor got his wheels stolen off his car (along with 2 other people the same morning). Not to mention the fact that thieves tried to steal my wheels once before, but failed to get past the wheel locks. When I asked the office what they were doing about security after three people got their wheels stolen in one morning, they said they were "upping security for the weekend." When I spoke with the security guard later in the day, he was not even aware of the situation. Furthermore, he said there is no patrol in the early morning hours, which is when the wheel thefts occurred. The only assurance the office gave me was that "this sort of stuff happens everywhere" and that they'd be installing a little wooden swing arm at the back gates some time. The apartments themselves are pretty nice, and the facilities are nice. However, the office's lackadaisical attitude towards crime in their complex is very concerning.

I lived in Phase 3 town home for 10 months and I loved it! A little bit overpriced but now that I am in Frederick Maryland the price seems very reasonable. The only problem I had was they did not have a military clause as I have to pay due to me PCSing. They keep the landscape up, security is around 24/7, plenty of lighting at night and alarms come with the apartments and town homes in Phase 3. Loved it!

My husband and I have lived here since May 2008. We haven't had any issues. The apartment is spacious and the property is very well kept. It's quiet and we feel safe. We all know that no place is 100% perfect, but we don't have any complaints. It's always good to get other peoples opinions but it's also great to find things out for your self. I would say that the Fieldstone Apartment’s are a good find.
