Been here 6 months, overall living here with 2 kids has been ok. My opinion may be a little different than your average apartment renter. I recently reclocated here from Florida where I was in a single family home. Moving back into apartment life was something I didn't think I would ever do, especially with two small kids so take this review with a grain of salt. The good: The facilities and grounds are nice and well kept. The office staff seems friendly and willing to help if I have a problem. The apartment itself is ok and comfortable. I may have the largest two car garage ever, which is saving me from having my stuff in a storage unit. The bad: My neighbors directly above me are terrible and I feel threatened by them. I would "officially" report them to the front office, but I am afraid my vehicle will get vandalized. Its some unruly teenagers who party and smoke weed all the time. I have spoken to the office about the situation and they want to help and think they can, but I have my doubts so I just let it slide. The apartments themselves are terribly insulated. I just had a $250 electric bill for a 1200 sq/ft apartment. I keep the thermostat set at 72 which I don't feel is unreasonable in the middle of the winter. But the bill is ridiculous, many of my co-workers who have homes twice or three times as big heat their home for the same price. Overall, I don't wish to be too negative on the apartments themselves. My experience is somewhat unique as I hate apartment living to begin with and my neighbor situation is my problem, not the apartments. 2 stars but could be 4 if I had some decent neighbors.

This is the worst place ever. The crime is unbelievable. The lack of customer service is shocking with the high prices they charge for such crappy apartments.

My husband and I have lived here since May 2008. We haven't had any issues. The apartment is spacious and the property is very well kept. It's quiet and we feel safe. We all know that no place is 100% perfect, but we don't have any complaints. It's always good to get other peoples opinions but it's also great to find things out for your self. I would say that the Fieldstone Apartment’s are a good find.

The weight room weights have disappeared and not replaced, the "gated" community is a joke. The neighborhood has changed since we moved here 2 years ago. Prices keep going up, quality down.

Lived here for 2 years now, and I've had my door kicked in, and my neighbor got his wheels stolen off his car (along with 2 other people the same morning). Not to mention the fact that thieves tried to steal my wheels once before, but failed to get past the wheel locks. When I asked the office what they were doing about security after three people got their wheels stolen in one morning, they said they were "upping security for the weekend." When I spoke with the security guard later in the day, he was not even aware of the situation. Furthermore, he said there is no patrol in the early morning hours, which is when the wheel thefts occurred. The only assurance the office gave me was that "this sort of stuff happens everywhere" and that they'd be installing a little wooden swing arm at the back gates some time. The apartments themselves are pretty nice, and the facilities are nice. However, the office's lackadaisical attitude towards crime in their complex is very concerning.

I lived in Phase 3 town home for 10 months and I loved it! A little bit overpriced but now that I am in Frederick Maryland the price seems very reasonable. The only problem I had was they did not have a military clause as I have to pay due to me PCSing. They keep the landscape up, security is around 24/7, plenty of lighting at night and alarms come with the apartments and town homes in Phase 3. Loved it!

When I first moved here in October it was quite and I really liked it. So far I have had three or four new tenants move in around me. One neighbor leaves trash outside their door which is against the rules. All my other neighbors have dogs, so you hear dogs barking at the wrong times like 11 to 2am on a work night and I have to get up at 5:30am. Then my upstairs neighbors, I live on the 2nd floor, walk all day and all night and all you hear is the sound of bowling balls being dropped all the time. I live facing the parking lot so I accepted some noise. But cars drive in and out of the complex into the wee hours bumping loud --- ghetto music. It is ridiculous for the area that this apartment complex is located in. I plan on asking management to move me but I WILL NOT be renewing my lease which ends in nov. I live in the phase 1 which I got in on a discounted price. Now I see why.
