These adorable babies are alive today because their Mom fought off a wild beast who tried to attack them.   #mothersday   #caturday   #truelove

Please share Nile's story for #Caturday , especially in DC/MD/VA
Presenting The Cat Who Loved Too Much... Niles. All was perfect for Niles when his beloved Mom was around. But one day, she decided to travel, and Niles spent long days and nights locked in a room with plenty of food and water, but no people. Sure, someone stopped by to refill his plate, but as the days stretched into weeks and then months, Niles grew increasingly frantic. Where was his Mom? Why wasn't she coming for him? And then one day she came home and all was well... for a while. Until the next travel brochure arrived and she left for a few more months. When she left again and again, Niles simply couldn't cope with the boredom and the lack of petting.
Finally, Mom got tired of Niles clinging to her on her rare visits home, so she sent him back to us. And he blossomed. Every time he is placed in a foster home, he falls in love with his foster parents. But, there's a problem: foster parents foster, and that means there are other cats in the house and Niles doesn't like to share his beloved people.
So, how will the tale of Niles end? Do you know someone who is home 95% of the time who would love the cat who loved too much? Who could handle giving him an anxiety pill? Who would love to love Niles as much as he loves to love?
Or will Niles end up in a cat sanctuary? Surrounded by too many cats and without one special person to call his own? He'll adapt, and he'll get lots of attention. But all he really really wants is a home of his own. Can you help the cat who loved too much find a person to call his very own? He'd be a great store cat, too, as long as it was open 7 days a week. Edward's beautiful orange and white markings are attention grabbing... but Edward is a shy young boy. He's looking for a loving family that understands he needs a little time to adjust to change. Once he's comfortable, he blossoms and showers his people with hugs and kisses.
