I want to thank Ray Barreras and the team for an amazing job, they went above I found the perfect 2014 Civic at an amazing price and great payment, I love how they were not pushy at all, I had been to several other dealer ships and never once did I feel like I was been pushed into something I didn't want or lied to. I will definitely recommend everyone to them and will continue to return to them.

Honda is the Most Durable, Longest Lasting Brand in its Class for Past 25 Years!!!
Honda brand is  #1 in class for product longevity
No other mainstream brand had a higher percentage of vehicles on the road from 1988-2012.
Honda vehicles are the most durable and longest lasting of any mainstream automotive brand*, according to Polk vehicle registration statistics from 1988-2012. No other mainstream brand had a greater percentage of vehicles on the road than the Honda brand. In the mainstream segment, an industry best 75% of all Honda vehicles sold in the last 25 years were still on the road.
"One of the most important considerations for a new vehicle purchase is how long that vehicle will last and this study demonstrates that Honda quality and reliability is not just part of our hard-earned reputation but represents our industry-leading performance on the road," said Michael Accavitti, senior vice president of automobile operations for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "If consumers want the most durable, longest lasting mainstream brand, Honda vehicles are the clear choice."
The quality and reliability of Honda vehicles is a major factor in their long-standing leadership in earning key industry value awards. For instance, for the second year in a row, Honda won ALG's top honor of Best Mainstream Brand in its annual Residual Value Awards for vehicles that are predicted to retain the highest percentage of their original price after a conventional three-year period. Honda has won the top honor more than any other automaker -- a record 8 out of 11 years they've awarded a mainstream brand. In 2013, Honda also earned multiple awards for individual models for Best Resale Value from KBB.com and Best Retained Value from Edmunds.com.
* Durability based on longevity. Longevity based on IHS Automotive, Polk U.S. vehicles in operation registration statistics 1988-2012 for Honda and non-luxury competing brands.

Working with Fernandez and specifically Justin Salazar made car buying a very pleasant experience. Justin took the time to ensure I got the best deal. He was always prompt in returning phone calls or emails. He is very professional and polite as is all the staff, I felt welcomed anytime I went in. Don Keovive in the finance department was also very nice to deal with. He was not originally supposed to be the finance manager I dealt with but he stepped up when the other finance manager was taking longer than expected with another customer. Fernandez Honda has an outstanding team and the focus is on customer service!

I purchased a new 2015 Honda pilot from paul carrion. this vehicle was suppose to come in may 27 but the floods in Houston delayed this. I had back up sensors added so that added another 2 days which was fine. we get the car june 1 Monday my husband noticed a chip in the paint where the sensors were added. I also noticed that on passenger side there were circles in paint. I pointed this to paul and he said that he would have them look at it and the same for the chip on the back up sensor area. I thought they were going to fix it then but no. we signed the paperwork etc and went outside to meet paul. he said that we would have to bring pilot back to let them work on the chip and the circles in the paint on passenger door. he also said that he would put us into another Honda pilot and fill tank of gas when we brought the vehicle back for repairs. to make long story short. we looked the vehicle over once we got home and noticed other paint issues. we also noticed that there was a screw loose near tires and some bumper issues. we took pilot in yesterday and service manager looked it over he saw more paint issues and noted our concerns. we were expecting to get a pilot for our courtesy vehicle as told to us by paul before but ended up getting a 2010 dodge caravan. it smelled and we didn't even make it off the lot and my husband noticed the brakes didn't work well. he had to press the brakes all the way to the floor board for it to work. very scary indeed. he took it back and we ended getting a 2012 Honda crv which is very small and our carseats barely fit. we were told we would get a pilot and we didn't. rick Rodrigues told my husband that repairs on our pilot would be 2 weeks. when I spoke to service manager he told me 2 days. when my husband asked the service manager again how long it would take he told him it would be ready by Monday evening. im confused which one is right? I figure go with the service manger but he had told me 2days initially. I purchased a new car I would figure that I would not have any issues with the paint etc but now I wish I didn't buy this car or should have waited til all issues were fixed first. paul did tell my husband that he did not tell us he would put us in another Honda pilot but he did we were both there when he said it. im not happy with this. we were there for 2 hours yesterday and we were very stressed with this situation. i hope the paint repairs will be done correctly and that we will not have any other issues with our new pilot in the future. THIS HAPPENED 6/17/15 BOUGHT PILOT JUNE 1ST STILLNOT DRIVINGIT I am very sick to my stomach and having to stress over this whole new car buying experience. we went to pick my "new" 2015 Honda pilot today and did not like what we saw. the paint job was not done correctly and now there are several dents/indentations what ever you want to label them on the side they repainted. some of the items that were on the service order to fix were not fixed. I thought the service manager was supposed to inspect pilot but he told my husband that he was not there on Tuesday. the inside and outside of the pilot was filthy. paint dust on dashboard and seats. the back up sensors where there was a chip on it looks like it was just moved up to cover up chip on paint. there are gaps on the sensors. this is not acceptable. not to mention I have 2 small children who have to wait for all this in the car while we talk to service people. i expect my car to be impeccable the next time i go back. if i see any more paint issues or gaps where there shouldn't be none i would like another car or my money back. and we are still having to drive a 2012 Honda crv!! we took the car in last wednedsay and it was ready yesterday. now my family and i have to wait who knows how much longer before we get it back. instead of driving my new flawless Honda pilot, im driving an old smaller vehicle. i will not give my name online. i spoke to raul today around 330pm. please speak to him about our problems i was told you were out of town left msg on adam

We are sincerely sorry that you have had to deal with these paint issues and for the frustration you've experienced! We hope that you understand our desire to fix these issues after your visit with the Service Manager yesterday and his personal guarantee that he will check all of the paint when it returns to us. We are committed to doing what is right for our customers and we will continue to work on these issues for you until it is to your satisfaction.

My wife and I looked at several other dealerships before going to Fernandez Honda. This was the only place that made us feel comfortable and valued rather than just another sale. Great selection, great prices, and no pressure. Best of all was the fantastic salesman who helped us. Even though they were almost closing and he had literally just finished helping another customer, Tariq Kassam (and his epic bow-tie) immediately made us his first priority. He found exactly what we were looking for and was very knowledgeable about the car and the whole process in general, even offering help and advice on selling our used car and obtaining new insurance. He made the whole process as simple and straightforward and took a lot of the stress out of buying a new car. He listened to us rather than just treating us like another number and found solutions to fit our needs and budget. And when we were done and handed off to the financing and warranty department, Charles White got us the warranty we needed at the best price and made the paperwork fast and painless. I will be using them when it's time for a new car again. I loved the dealership, loved the staff, and love my new Civic! As an update, I have since traded in for a newer model and again Tarriq and the sales staff were fantastic at all times. I have had to use the service department about 4 times for various things and have had horrible experiences in the past. But lately they have hired some new people and made some changes and I'm happy to say it is also now up to Honda's high standards. Especially Joey Cabello. He has helped me multiple times and is always friendly, professional, and goes out of his way for the customer. So if you need to go to the Fernandez Honda service department, ask for Joey and he will get you taken care of right!

I purchased a used 2008 Kia Rio a month ago from Eric, Tony, and Matt that has turned out to be a lemon, took the car back twice, and my engine still doesn't work. A bittersweet first car buying experience. I figured since I purchased an inexpensive car, that DOWN THE ROAD in its life, I would have to invest in fixing it. Less than a week after purchasing the car, I went to fill up the gas tank only to find that the car WOULD NOT START after I put in the gas. I had a swarm of people come to my car trying to help me, and I called people in a panic to give me insight. After flooding the engine in 'park' I was able to get the car started again. I had to do that the next few times I started the engine. When I got on the highway to Austin, the car started shaking around 80 mph. On my way home from Austin, the engine light came on and started flashing at me. I pulled over in San Marcos to a friendly Auto Zone store that read FIVE different codes from my check engine light. I finally called Fernandez and told them that having five 'check engine' codes less than two weeks after purchasing a car is unacceptable. I brought my car in to get it fixed, and a few hours later they said it was good to go. I got a piece of paper that said they changed a coil. "What about the fact that it doesn't start after I fill it with gas? What about the e-vap sensor?" But Matt, the sales manager assured me that they were able to "erase the codes," and all should be fine. At this point, I'm thinking their service department excels in erasing check engine light codes versus actually fixing the problems, so I immediately went to fill my gas tank. Lo and behold, I went to start my engine, and my car wouldn't start. There happened to be another Fernandez worker at the Valero who immediately came over to me shaking his head. "No way am I going to let you drive off like that," he said. So I took a video of my car not starting and followed him back to Fernandez (by the way, thanks random Fernandez employee for having the shame that my sales team should have had). I showed the video to Matt who said they would take my car in again and give me a rental. For about an hour I waited for that rental to show up and finally nudged the overworked receptionist to tell me what the status was, and someone called Tony on his cell. Tony walked in carrying a Whataburger bag and drink smiling sheepishly and said, "I didn't know y'all were waiting on me!" And this was on my now three hour work lunch break. A few days later my car wasn't fixed, but my loan agreement to the rental car was expiring, and it felt like pulling all the strings to get Matt or Eric to respond to my emails asking for a document that extended my loan of this rental car (in case I got pulled over, how am I supposed to prove I didn't just walk off with this car??) They seemed like they could care less, but I eventually got the document. A few days after that I got a call from another sales person who said someone was interested in the Chevy Cruze I was loaning from Fernandez. Hallelujah, I thought. This means they're going to prioritize the service of my car! I went to go give the Chevy Cruze back and reclaim my car. The gas tank was FILLED at this point, so I couldn't check the engine. A day or so later, I went to get gas. Guess who has two thumbs and a car that won't start after filling it up with gas? This young, lady. The most messed up thing is that they gave me the car back filled up with gas, so they knew that it wasn't starting after the gas tank was filled. They knew it, and they still pressured me to give the Chevy Cruze back so they could try to hawk it while they handed me back my car. I have papers saying they did all kinds of fun things to my car, none of which worked. And they knew it. That's disgusting. It's Easter weekend, but I have to call them again on Monday, and start this process all over again. Wish me luck, Yelpers. Find a more respectable dealership if you can.

My name is Adam Claiborne and I am the General Manager at Fernandez Honda. I tried calling but have been unable to reach you by phone. We take your concerns very seriously and I apologize for the frustrating experience you've had with your 2008 Kia. We hope that you understand these were not existing issues and could not have been predicted. We hope that we have shown you our desire to earnestly help with over $1700 in repair costs covered by us on a vehicle sold with no warranty. Please return my call at your earliest convenience on my cell phone at 210-559-7413 or email me at AdamC@fernandezhonda.com so that we can discuss this further.

Just had a great experience with Fernandez Honda. Justin Salazar was my salesman, and did a great job of working with me, helping meet my needs. I got the car for a fair price, and was happy with the car I chose. The only negative experience with the entire process was with the Finance Manager. He was not friendly, didn't seem to want my business, didn't return my calls when he said he would, and didn't seem to want to work with me at all. Plus, he quoted my credit score 100 points below what I know it to be. Not sure if that's a dealership trick, but he almost lost the sale over his handling of the situation. Luckily, I had a great salesman to work with, and was able to work out a great deal with him.

By far one of the best car buying experiences I've ever had! Joe along with the other staff members there went above and beyond in order to get me into my new 2015 Honda Civic and it's beyond appreciated. If your looking for an honest, hardworking, and truly caring Honda Dealership for your next purchase, Fernandez Honda is absolutely for you!

We recently purchased our 2015 Civic Sedan from Fernandez Honda. We researched vehicles online and filled out an inquiry on the vehicle that we were interested in. Ray Barrera was in contact with us very quickly to answer any questions and to speed along the process. By the time we arrived at the dealership a couple of days later, the vehicle was ready to take on a test drive and the paperwork was mostly complete. Our finance manager was very friendly as well! We loved the whole experience and will be purchasing all of our vehicles from here from now on!
