One of our clients uses a Custom Search Engine (CSE) provided by Google. Since we switched to Universal Analytics with Google Tag Manager, we haven’t seen any internal search traffic anymore in Google Analytics. The GTM container tag is placed before the CSE-script. Do I have to create a tag in GTM (and what kind of tag) to make sure the internal search reports will show data again?
I would very appreciate if someone could give some advise in order to solve this issue, as I can’t imagine that GTM isn’t able to track the internal searchterms from CSE.
