14:00hs - Início do "Bootcamp".

A new standard for camera phones.
Huawei P20 Pro triple-camera receives DxOMark score of 109, smashing the competition - There's no other way to put it: at least according to DxOMark, the Huawei P20 Pro is far and away the most capable smartphone camera on the market. In fact, with a score of 109, the world's first triple-cam smartphone ranks a full 10 points ahead of its nearest rival, the Samsung Galaxy S9. And it's not just the P20 Pro; even the P20, which only has a dual-cam, broke into three digits with a score of 102....

That is a very nice story about people getting together to make things happen. +Ingress is an amazing parable of life itself. It gives its honest players a new perspective of time, distance/place and, above all, human relationship.

Keep up the good work, +Søren Schrøder. But, remember: there are excellent human beings among the Enlightened, too. You and your fellow Resistance agents will have to come with new solutions!
How to change the MU game

When you realize that Ingress isn’t a solo game, but a social game, where you work together with your agent friends in your faction, the goal changes from personal AP and stats towards the faction goals (fun, social interaction, anomalies, OP’s etc.).
One of the faction goal can be the MU game, trying to win the cell septicycles.

This is the story of how the MU game changed in NR03-GOLF-09 (the cell containing Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark)

For most of 2016, the ENL had been dominating the cell, winning 90% of the cycles. So the new year's resolution for RES was to step up our effort in the MU game in 2017.
We laid a plan, where our primary objective was to make the life hard for the ENL fielders. Plans were made, we swapped keys, found annoying portals and made guard schedules etc.

And it worked ! We won 2017.01 by a margin, and even the next two cycles. It was hard work, but it was hard work for the ENL fielders too, and they learned the hard way, that we meant business, sniping the anchors seconds before late-night checkpoints and throwing blockers when they started clearing.

We lost 2017.04 due to international BAF, but came back, and won 2017.05. 2017.06 was a fierce battle, where both sides really fought hard, but we lost narrowly.

After that we changed tactics, and while still working hard to prevent the ENL BAF’s, we stepped up on our own MU creation. Keys were farmed, lanes were cleared, and huge multilayers were build. At the same time we managed to keep the ENL “perma-layers” down, which resulted in huge winnings.

ENL was losing momentum. Their fielders were trying less. And our fields were growing. If ENL did a BAF, we quickly organised an even bigger counter-BAF, nulling their scores. And we often opened new cycles with a demoralising BAF to secure a good lead.

We expanded our cooperation with Sweden Resistance, since control over the Øresund strait is vital. Many ENL BAF’s were prevented with good help from our neighbour agents.

Lately we have secured our wins based on a solid “basis MU” production, from smaller local multilayers, that we keep up in many CP’s and rebuild quickly.

The result is that today we have won the Septicycles for one consecutive year, from 2017.06 to 2018.06.

Resistance is a smooth, fun, social, strong faction in the cell. We have good communication channels, agents work together, and we have fun playing ingress as a TEAM, not as a solo game.

No single agent mentioned, everybody is an important wheel in the Resistance machine.

Oh. And should ENL read this, then the message is: We don’t plan to stop at one year….

On behalf of Resistance in the cell.
Søren Schrøder

"...teenagers who were forced to stay in school a bit longer because of legal changes were healthier in later life than similar teenagers."
FTA: "It’s a complicated question to untangle, but a paper in Nature Human Behaviour this week uses data from a natural experiment to get some answers. They found that, regardless of their economic status, teenagers who were forced to stay in school a bit longer because of legal changes were healthier in later life than similar teenagers who only just missed the new regulations. This is evidence that education itself is causing improved health, rather than an external factor boosting both health and education."
