London (UK) – Towards the end of June, it was reported that in Kensington a blue #Maserati GHIBLI S belonging to the German former world No.1 professional tennis player Boris Becker was lifted by a medium-duty #Fassi crane and taken away after being issued with a parking ticket.

St. Eustatius (Netherlands Antilles) – On the 9th April, staff from Chapman Expeditions (http://www.chapmanexpeditions.org) left the Port of Curacao on the research vessel RV Chapman, bound for St. Eustatius island (locally known as Statia), the “Golden Rock” of the Caribbean, with a #Fassi F1100RA.2 he-dynamic #crane onboard. The RV Chapman and Substation-Curacao teams will be joined by marine biologists and scientists from the Smithsonian DROP Team, the University of Washington/Burke Museum and Sirenas MD, a company which specializes in the development of potent therapeutic molecules to cure illness.

This expedition will last until 2nd May and is for the purposes of important marine investigation and biodiversity mapping. The Fassi crane will play a vital role in the expedition’s activities, as it is used to lift and submerse the Substation #Curacao submarine in and out of the sea, facilitating underwater exploration.

#Fassi will be exhibiting new and popular crane models with its American dealer, #Fascan International Inc., at the 2017 #CONEXPO at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, March 7-11 in the external Gold Lot, Booth G3722. CONEXPO will also be the first opportunity for the public to see the F120BCM.1 (HD4/S2), which was created especially for the United States market. The F120BCM.1 crane, named the “Corner Mount”, is currently used in the North American market as auxiliary equipment on medium/light-duty vehicles used for maintenance work in the utilities sector.

Albino (Italy). Last week, a group of students from #ECAL Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne (a Swiss Art school located in Lausanne) came to #Fassi headquarters in Albino to begin shooting the photographs for next year’s #CraneArt Project Calendar.
The group worked intensively over the course of two days, alongside Fassi employees in different locations within the Fassi organization and Bergamo: in and outside the factory spaces, inside the logistics centre, the offices and even in Bergamo city centre.
The group consisted of 9 students, 2 teaching assistants and the Head of the Bachelors and Masters Photography courses, Professor Milo Keller.
