My favorite place! I loved everything I ate here! The jalapeño poppers, guacamole with homemade chips, and the veggie burger were just fabulous! Also nut loaf with shiitake mushroom gravy! Yum!! I will go anytime I can!

Needs training but healthy and friendly. Our smoothies were a dissappointment. Mine was the choco peanut butter one and was too warm and pudding like instead of icy and blended. I asked twice for more ice and a reblend and after a very long wait the waiteress came back out with the untouched warm soupy drink to tell me they put some ice in the bottom and" it'll get colder". It was gross and I'm sorry I didn't stick to my guns but we had waited so long already we had to let it go. My boyfriend got the pina colada smoothie that had the right blended consistancy but way too much lime flavor added. it was a cute place and the bread looked amazing, but it was a one timer for us.

Fresh organic produce and healthy (not excessive) portions. Try the veggie burger or the raw taco. Rustic, with a large outdoor dining area.

Organic, mostly home grown ingredients. Very casual. Great hang out place. Indoor and outdoor dining. Lunch specials. 5 star owners. Unique.

We ordered our food and sat at the outside patio for 20 minutes waiting and waiting for our food. No one came until we went to the cashier and asked her about our food and she said oh we forgot. Horrible we took o ur money and left.

I am so sorry about that, human error, it happens but rarely and we feel awful about it. Send us your email address and we will send you a gift certificate….if you want to give us a second chance.

The farmer (Steve) is a wise sage type, willing to take some time & educate customers about organic goods & the politics of food, who really does grow much of the organic produce, close by - so you can feel good about buying & eating locally & in season. The cook (Olivia) was famous when she had her Ventura cafe City Bakery, and she continues to share her gift for temptingly wonderful nutritious food at her latest place, Farmer & The Cook's kitchen - best nutloaf/mushroom gravy ever (but only served on Wednesdays), and her veggie burger with banana chutney is def something you don't want to pass up! The kids working there are mostly laid back (read - don't expect "fast food") and sometimes they can be a bit distracted - but the food is worth it and it's a good lesson in "slowing down" our instant gratification tendencies. The people watching can be very interesting too. The little organic market is well-stocked - great chai, organic teas, bulk spices & grains/nuts & other staples, and wonderful organic produce (lately the cherimoyas have been spectacular.) The music can be good too!

Waited 75 minutes to receive simple dishes priced many times what they were worth. It took 15 minutes just to get a glass of tap water. The pizza would be called mediocre by any standards and the guacamole was small and untasty. Simply put: OVERPRICED and LOUSY SERVICE.
