This week's spotlight is on Cassie, one of our wonderful physical therapists!

Cassie attended the College of St. Scholastica for her undergraduate and doctorate degrees and has been a physical therapist for 3 years. She always knew she wanted to work with children but after attending physical therapy as a young figure skater, she knew from then on that she wanted to become a physical therapist.

Cassie has been here at Family Achievement Center since August of 2015 and loves the team approach to therapy. She loves collaborating and discussing unique ideas in order to help the patient in the best way possible. Her favorite part of her job is when she walks out into the lobby and her patients are excited to see her, as well as seeing them meet their goals. Cassie loves to cheer them on and celebrate their milestones with them! Her favorite memories from her time here include the annual awards day and teaching bike group for the last 2 summers. Cassie's favorite parts of being a physical therapist are that she enjoys being creative with her techniques so that kids are having fun while working on their skills or strengths, and that she gets to have fun at work every day!

A fun fact about Cassie is that she has a large extended family she loves spending time with and that her cousins are like her brothers and sisters! Finally, she's crossing something big off her bucket list next month: she's running a half marathon!

Thank you, Cassie, for everything that you do! #ProvidingHope

Our therapist spotlight this week is on Catherine, one of our amazing occupational therapists!

Catherine attended St. Catherine's University and has been here at Family Achievement Center for 8 months. The things she loves the most here are her wonderful coworkers and the happy children!

Catherine's favorite part of her job seeing how excited the children get when they reach a goal they've been working on. Finally, her favorite part about being a therapist is that every day is a new and exciting experience and that no two days as a therapist are the same!

Thank you, Catherine, for all of the wonderful work you do!
