#NATS  was recently awarded a contract to work with the Civil #Aviation  Authority of Singapore (CAAS) on air traffic management, specifically looking at #airport  expansion plans, high intensity operations and third runway activity.

So we thought it a good and timely opportunity to share a data visualisation we had made for the Asia Pacific region, offering some insight into just how busy the skies of the region are on any given day.

As Air Traffic Management (ATM) becomes ever-busier, more complex and more inter-connected across different Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), it is timely to consider how human performance is best optimised for smooth, efficient and safe handling of air traffic.

Human performance is especially important in air traffic management. The Human Performance Standard of Excellence (HPSoE) will help ANSPs.

Stayed here for 5 nights ... excellent executive suite, friendly front office staff. Great location and accessibility to the Slussen and Gamlastan area - I'll definitely be staying here again!

Excellent location for the business district. Good staff, clean and tidy rooms. Seems to be very popular with short stay visitors so tends to get busy ... but on the whole a pleasant stay.

Stayed here for 2 weeks ... friendly staff, clean rooms ... only downside is the walls between the rooms are allow noise through, so be prepared for some inconvenience if you have loud neighbours! Location is excellent for easy access into Lake Mary, Sandford and it's environs - excellent access to the highway.

An excellent hotel which is close to the city and to the airport! Room facilities are what to be expected for the star rating and hotel brand ... good friendly and approachable front-office staff.

If you want a weekend away, this is an excellent spa hotel to stay in ... although it does tend to get busy at times, the accommodation is amazing especially if you are staying in upgraded suites overlooking the bay! Excellent food (breakfast), though a little pricey, you do get it's worth. The hotel's car park is ideally located though a little on the expensive side especially if you are already a guest at the hotel!

Great Lebanese food on the busy Edgware Road ... I'd recommend going here during lunch time to take advantage of their lunch time specials (which gives you a good variety), but also, to sample the dish (special) of the day.

An airport for fair facilities ... not ideal for a long stop-over as it's generally crowded and always busy. Watch-out - this is an announcement free airport - so, you really have to pay attention to those departure screens!
