It's the most wonderful time of the year... For soooo many reasons. But for some, it is not... It is perhaps the worst. Because they are reminded of how much they do not have. So giving back at Christmas is truly the best way to ensure that everybody has a Merry Christmas!

What are you doing this Christmas? Will you be travelling? To your home town? To a resort? Or staying at home?

If you are around in Lagos on the 22nd of December, do make sure you spend the day with the FLA Kids! They are planning a party, and it wouldn't be the same without you... They are all meeting this weekend at the FLA Office to work on their party plans! You're invited to come along for this meeting, scheduled for 10 am on Saturday the 3rd, Read more about the Christmas Party...

Last year, we met the young, beautiful and lovely Ibukun, while doing our search for children with talents to take part in our first of its kind Talent Search Competition, in partnership with Ultima Limited. Ibukun is a passionate young lady of 16 years, who loves acting and started acting in Church and in School, when she was only six years old. She says she wants to be a Play Writer or Actress in the future.

Ibukun is truly gifted, as her trainers at K.K.A Arts Academy attest to. During the competition, she showed a rare creative talent in acting, which transformed her into a character that you couldn’t take your eyes off. She was skillful at incorporating humour and wisdom in her performances, and worked as well in a group as she did solo. It was no wonder she arose to become one of the six winners of the Fair Life Africa Talent Search, carrying the prize for her category

The children of Fair Life Africa Foundation, aka the #FLAKids, cordially invite you to put on your dancing shoes and come party with them this Christmas, on the 22nd of December!!!

Yes, they are putting on a show for you. It is their party, organised by them, with performances and presentations made by them, showcasing their talents in various arts and crafts. The theme of the Christmas Party is “Show and Share”.

If you are already a child sponsor, you don’t want to miss this chance to see your sponsored child SHINE!!! Come and see them in their element, having a good time, letting all their cares away. Come and see what your donations have done in their lives, and how they have matured.

If you are yet to sponsor a child, come and meet our children. Hang out with the kids, and get to know them. Some are still in need of sponsors… Hear their stories and make a life-time connection like Ijay did!

Good afternoon passengers. This is your captain speaking. First I’d like to welcome everyone on Lovewing Flight 97B. We are currently cruising at an altitude of 33,000 feet, at an airspeed of 400 miles per hour. The time is 2:45 pm. The weather looks good and, with the tailwind on our side, we are expecting …

We appreciate Lagos Convo for their support with getting our message out!
“Parents listen to your children, we are the leaders of tomorrow. Try to pay our school fees and give us a sound education” I still remember how my classmates and I sang the words of Tosin Jegede’s song as we marched to our classes after the usual morning assembly during my primary school days. How …

If you are familiar with our work, you will notice something special about our kids… They are smiling! Granted, they are not always smiling, as if their lives are blissfully easy. They have come from a place of struggle and disadvantage. They are well acquainted with lack and even injustice. They still live within their impoverished environments, working towards a better future. But they have hope! And they have faith! And most of all, they have love!

At Fair Life Africa Foundation, we are concerned for the complete well being of our children. We are concerned for their physical, social, emotional, mental and spiritual development. Through our Disadvantage to Advantage Initiative, we alleviate the pressures facing them, and remove the barriers to their success by primarily sponsoring their academic education and vocational study. Our children are brilliant and talented, but more than their physical disadvantage, there is a lot of bad education that can stand in the way of their success. So empowering them also requires re-educating them, and freeing their minds to think big!

Thanks to +Lagos Convo for sharing our #storyseries!
‘We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated.’ – Maya Angelou Walt Disney’s animated stories are always fun to watch. Take the evergreen story of Cinderella for instance. A young lady finds herself at the mercy of her cruel step-mother and step-sisters after her father unexpectedly dies. Despite her circumstances, she refuses …

Horns blaring, traffic officials working tirelessly as the rain drizzles. The ever present traffic is the icing on the cake of events as I try navigate my way to work on a Monday morning. Sometimes you only wonder what could be causing the traffic. Could it be an accident or another episode of a driver …
