IntroductionThis instructable will guide you to build a 3D scanner for less than $30, or even $12 if you already have a USB webcam.Seeing the price tag and limitations of commercial scanners I decided to challenge myself to build my own. It had to be cheaper and easy for anybody to build one using a 3D printer.ResultThe "Sardauscan" is a laser scanner, comparable to other professional laser scanners but for less than 20-30 times the price, and it...

il y a bien motedis qui a des prix correcte, mais leur 2020 ne sont pas biseauté (en 5mm du moins), ce qui pose des problèmes les utiliser comme guide de rail lineaire.

I'm a little sad to only win a tshirt from the http://www.instructables.com/contest/3dprintingcontestxxl/ .

I know that we aren't objective when we enter a contest but
I was realy thinking that a open harware/software 3d scanner for less than 30$ worth something.

ps: don't mistake me, i don't say that other don't deserve to win: some poeple have done realy impressive and incredible work.

+Parker Link Sorry but i realy don't know much about mac but this guy is trying to port it in mono for his mac : http://fabribles.com/forum/build-threads/109-sardauscan-30-3d-scanner?start=10#518

ps: in python there is the bq cyclop, another open source scanner. but it needs special bearing and custom hardware build.
