In a year from now, we'll say goodbye to roaming charges within the EU. Our ambition is to abolish unjustified geo-blocking on the same occasion. We also want the cross-border portability of content to be a reality in 2017 so that you can travel with your films, music, sports broadcasts, e-books across the EU. A triple win for Europeans! http://europa.eu/!JR46kw

History repeating. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Netherlands_East_Indies_Army#Recruiting
Dutch government had these people to fight for them, helped them flee their country alright, but them kinda let them rot.

We had Berlusconi for 20 years, swallowed all the jokes every day and all the "Why Berlusconi?"s, now it's your turn to carry the baton.

Good luck!

Berlusconi funded the political party called Forza Italia in October 1993 and that party won the elections in 1994. Italy is a Constitutional Republic where the President of the Republic appoints the Prime Minister based on the results of the elections that then needs to seek a majority of votes in both chambers (Senato and Camera) and form the government. The leader of a political party does not necessarily become the Prime Minister.

Berlusconi never had any political role before that election run, just like Trump.
Berlusconi didn’t hold office too, just like Trump.
Berlusconi had/has a lot of money, control/controls most of the press and he even tried to buy La Repubblica but was stopped (search for “lodo Mondadori” to know more).

The irony is that Trump looks a lot worse than Berlusconi. Then only upside is that Trump could only be in office for up to 8 years, while there is no time limit for a Presidente del Consiglio (Prime Minister) in Italy.

Most of the interesting bits of the Italian politics don't even get translated into other languages, so unless you know the language, you are going to miss them :(

The moment you realize that you got a NVIDIA GeForce 950 for your computer and you are already looking for a 970 if not a 1080... First world problems.

The 950 was actually meant for the workstation but I then realized that I couldn't fit 27cm of card in a mid tower case. So I now ordered a smaller 950 and I'm going to order a faster one for the other Steam machine.

My 4k display is now happy at 60Hz using DP 1.2. and this setup is definitely better than dual screen.

The Gotthard Base Tunnel is about to be inaugurated. And the Ceneri Base Tunnel will follow in 2019. 2h30m then, between Zürich and Milan. 4h30m between Zürich and Rome.

Can't wait to travel hi speed across the alps next year, this is so exciting.

WAT...? (verbatim)

CONFIG_MANDATORY_FILE_LOCKING:

This option enables files appropriately marked files on appropriely
mounted filesystems to support mandatory locking.

To the best of my knowledge this is dead code that no one cares about.
