Innovation? In Windows 8? It's an empty promise, just as it was with Longhorn. No new file system and the Achilles Heel of every Windows system ever booted up is still there:
In a BUILD session, Microsoft's Matt Merry explains that, sadly, the Registry isn't just alive and well in Windows 8; it's still a core technology behind Windows 8 and its new, Metro-style apps.

If possible, please avoid using innovation and Windows (Microsoft) in the same sentence.
Mr. Dave Mustaine once said - "Military, intelligence - two words combined that can't make sense!". Same goes for M$ and innovation - "Microsoft, Innovation - two words combined that can't make sense!"
Does this really comes as ANY surprise ... :D
