On Oct. 25, 2000, Richard and Darlene Stoff held the Grand Opening for Family KIA of St. Augustine at 2665 U.S. 1 South. With that opening, came the pledge that the dealership would be your "Home of the Red Carpet Treatment."

Almost fourteen years later, the Stoffs continue that commitment with the family-owned and operated Family KIA. Through those years there have been changes, but not to the passion to provide their customers with complete customer satisfaction. It is our aim to make your car buying and servicing a fun experience and thereby add you to our ever growing family of happy and satisfied customers.

Come in and experience "The Red Carpet Treatment" today!

I Love family kia.. I would recommend anyone to go there. I bought my very first brand new car from there 2015. The people are so nice. They really take there time with you. Also my car had a few problems and with it being brand new I took it back to the shop I was in and out and they are ordering my new parts as I type with out any hassle. They were very apologetic about the car. (Even though it was just the sensors on the tire that went bad.)

I have been a customer of Family Kia since 1995 when I bought my first Kia, a Sorento. Wayne Acosta took great care in making sure I had the best service possible! So much so, that I bought my next Kia in 2012, an Optima. I loved both of these vehicles so much that I'm ready to trade for another Sorento. The service department always takes great care of my and makes sure I don't have to spend any more time than necessary. If you're considering a new or used vehicle Family Kia is the place to go!

When I took my car in for a repair, they stole my tires and put on horrible used replacements. The camera in the shop area happened to be broken and the service manager out of town. I bought the car here as well. When I got it, the 2 tires on the back did not match the tires in the front; this is the only way I was able to know they had switched my tires. After much running around and falsifying of records, the service manager's offer was to take 2 tires off of any car in the lot that I preferred. Not only does this make no sense, it also shows that this is a common procedure for them. When they sold me the car, with a full inspection, it had a faulty bearing that was extremely noisy. Come to find out later, it was also extremely dangerous. I would never buy a car or get a repair at this facility again. Beware.

Worst experience I have ever had at a dealership! We were made empty promises again and again. They understood we needed a vehicle as soon as possible and took advantage of that by trying to screw us over on the price. We had my husbands vehicle as a trade in and were told we could get $1500 for it. After we showed interest in a vehicle and told them our budget, they suddenly changed their mind and said we an only get $750 for the car. The car was listed online at $8999 and out the door with the trade in and having a tag already to transfer, they tried to charge us $10,000. The bumper on the car is cracked and they wouldn't get it fixed for us, they wanted to charge another $600 for the repair. After complaining again and again about the bad service Tom, the salesman, told us a new price; $9600. Then, suddenly it was back at $10,000 because he didn't get approval first. Very unprofessional.. Not to mention, Tom and his manager were yelling at each other in front of my husband and other customers. We are livid!

If I could rate this place zero stars, I would. We had friends car shopping here who were told false statements several times. Trade-in offers were revoked for no reason, prices were raised like they tried to pull one over on them. Tom Niedel and the used car manager got in an argument in front of their customers. Unbelievably unprofessional. My husband and I have considered shopping here but will avoid at all costs after hearing about our friends' experience.

This place has VERY SHADY business practices. They tell you one thing and then it leads to a whole different issue. I was so upset at myself for even deciding to do business with such a dishonest organization as Family Kia is. The sales manager at this location is the king of the high level of dishonesty for Family Kia's new car sales department. When I say GO TO ANOTHER DEALER I TRULY MEAN IT".

Be very very careful if you buy a used car from here, and be ok with walking away. Here is my story. Back in August of 14 I bought a used 13 White Kia soul! They sold it to me on a Sunday with the engine light on. There reason was that they had just went to fill it up that day and it came on after they did so. They said they would take care of whatever it is free of charge when I bring it in later that week. I did so and it was found that the gas cap was missing. In my short time with the car up to that point I found multiple scratches on the car, along with a few other minor issues, which they fixed rather poorly or not at all. Here is where the story gets worse. Fast forward to March 15. I go and get my oil changed and tires rotated at the southside kia location. They tell me the tires need replacing (That can't make sense, the car only has 16k miles on it..) However, the tires have much more. The car had tires from '00,'01, and two from '09!!!! They were only a solid bump away from blowing out! Since I am passed the 90 days I can't say or get anything from Family Kia as they won't pay a dime. Be very careful when buying a used car from this place and look up every square inch before you buy it! They like to buy repoed cars from auctions, which is where mine came from. If these tires got passed Family Kia, I can only imagine what else could for other cars! Summary of all the things with my car that were bad since purchasing: Various scratches (poorly fixed and some not even touched) No floormats (no offer to replace them and when asked they said they'd have to charge) Left over extra tint on one side of the windshield No spare key (and no offer to provide one and when asked said they'd have to charge) No owners manual (told me to download it online!) No gas cap (causing me to wait for an hour to find out what was wrong while it was in shop) Tires over 10 years old (missed on inspection? older then car itself?) Dare I say there may be more I have yet to discover? I will never be buying used or new from this location ever again, and will actively speak against this location in any conversation I have about it. I advise anyone to either skip this place for used cars or carefully look at every inch! I myself won't be buying a new car from here either. Oh, and the salesman I had. Jeff. Be careful around him.
