On Oct. 25, 2000, Richard and Darlene Stoff held the Grand Opening for Family KIA of St. Augustine at 2665 U.S. 1 South. With that opening, came the pledge that the dealership would be your "Home of the Red Carpet Treatment."

Almost fourteen years later, the Stoffs continue that commitment with the family-owned and operated Family KIA. Through those years there have been changes, but not to the passion to provide their customers with complete customer satisfaction. It is our aim to make your car buying and servicing a fun experience and thereby add you to our ever growing family of happy and satisfied customers.

Come in and experience "The Red Carpet Treatment" today!

If I could rate this place zero stars, I would. We had friends car shopping here who were told false statements several times. Trade-in offers were revoked for no reason, prices were raised like they tried to pull one over on them. Tom Niedel and the used car manager got in an argument in front of their customers. Unbelievably unprofessional. My husband and I have considered shopping here but will avoid at all costs after hearing about our friends' experience.

Be very very careful if you buy a used car from here, and be ok with walking away. Here is my story. Back in August of 14 I bought a used 13 White Kia soul! They sold it to me on a Sunday with the engine light on. There reason was that they had just went to fill it up that day and it came on after they did so. They said they would take care of whatever it is free of charge when I bring it in later that week. I did so and it was found that the gas cap was missing. In my short time with the car up to that point I found multiple scratches on the car, along with a few other minor issues, which they fixed rather poorly or not at all. Here is where the story gets worse. Fast forward to March 15. I go and get my oil changed and tires rotated at the southside kia location. They tell me the tires need replacing (That can't make sense, the car only has 16k miles on it..) However, the tires have much more. The car had tires from '00,'01, and two from '09!!!! They were only a solid bump away from blowing out! Since I am passed the 90 days I can't say or get anything from Family Kia as they won't pay a dime. Be very careful when buying a used car from this place and look up every square inch before you buy it! They like to buy repoed cars from auctions, which is where mine came from. If these tires got passed Family Kia, I can only imagine what else could for other cars! Summary of all the things with my car that were bad since purchasing: Various scratches (poorly fixed and some not even touched) No floormats (no offer to replace them and when asked they said they'd have to charge) Left over extra tint on one side of the windshield No spare key (and no offer to provide one and when asked said they'd have to charge) No owners manual (told me to download it online!) No gas cap (causing me to wait for an hour to find out what was wrong while it was in shop) Tires over 10 years old (missed on inspection? older then car itself?) Dare I say there may be more I have yet to discover? I will never be buying used or new from this location ever again, and will actively speak against this location in any conversation I have about it. I advise anyone to either skip this place for used cars or carefully look at every inch! I myself won't be buying a new car from here either. Oh, and the salesman I had. Jeff. Be careful around him.

I purchased my first vehicle through Family Kia a few months back, and everything from the first walk-in, to the purchase and servicing has been a fantastic experience. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. Michael Weir was an easy to work with salesman and Darwin Grote made the financing part a breeze. If you are in the need of a new or used vehicle, Family Kia of Saint Augustine is worth checking out.

If you are in the market to get a new or used car I definitely recommend this dealership. It was worth the extra drive and everything was handled professionally with no extra pressure! Sheldon is a marvelous salesman and GM Scotty was the best GM I have come across. Great team great experience!

Worst experience I have ever had at a dealership! We were made empty promises again and again. They understood we needed a vehicle as soon as possible and took advantage of that by trying to screw us over on the price. We had my husbands vehicle as a trade in and were told we could get $1500 for it. After we showed interest in a vehicle and told them our budget, they suddenly changed their mind and said we an only get $750 for the car. The car was listed online at $8999 and out the door with the trade in and having a tag already to transfer, they tried to charge us $10,000. The bumper on the car is cracked and they wouldn't get it fixed for us, they wanted to charge another $600 for the repair. After complaining again and again about the bad service Tom, the salesman, told us a new price; $9600. Then, suddenly it was back at $10,000 because he didn't get approval first. Very unprofessional.. Not to mention, Tom and his manager were yelling at each other in front of my husband and other customers. We are livid!

I started with Orange Park Kia, where I wasn't taken seriously and was pretty much ignored when I was shopping for a car. I called up Family Kia (because its an hour from me) and spoke with Debbie on the phone, told her what exactly I wanted, if it was worth me driving out there for, and if she could give me what I wanted. She said absolutely. I made the drive and couldn't have left happier. I was treated with respect at all times from everyone in Kia. I didn't feel once like I was "just another person to sell a car to". Debbie was completely honest with me and very kind and patient. I had a auto loan already approved when I went, Darwin found me a better interest rate and a lower payment! It's even the little things, I knew I wanted another Kia, I was trading in my Kia for a new Sorento. They gave me and my son each a Tshirt, coffee mug, and keychain, and let me tell you that made the day for my 4 year old. Last time I bought a New Kia at a different location I didnt even get a keychain! When you spend thousands on a car, even a "thank you keychain" would be appreciated! Haha!! They have a play area for the kids (fabulous distraction) that makes the experience even better when you have little ones. I will be making the drive to Family Kia for my service for my Sorento, because of the people, they are all so kind and amazing!

I went in to the dealership, in a negative equity situation that I told them about up front before arriving, which they said they could take care of and to just come on down. Well, here's their advice when I got there: Just buy our car and let the other car go back, as in, let them repo it but buy ours first so you have a car. Total dirtbags, they only care about this sale, not you or your future business.

Joey Cassata Internet Manager is very helpful!! This was probably one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had! Joey worked with me over the phone and via email (because this dealership is over 40 miles away from my house) to work out a very fair and honest deal. Joey was extremely helpful, friendly, and honest. Not once was he pushy nor did he feed me any half truths. I was a very informed customer through the entire deal and everything that Joey did was on point. I just picked up my brand new Optima this evening and I couldn't be happier!!! Joey had it detailed, filled with gas, and had the windows tinted for me (upon request on a short notice). I got the exact car & deal that I was looking for and I attribute it to Joey's extensive experience and a desire to truly make the customer happy. I plan to refer all of my friends to this dealership and to make sure they ask for Joey. Be sure to do the same. Take it from a happy and satisfied customer, you won't be disappointed!!
