The Jacksonville FAASTeam and Jacksonville University are thrilled to welcome Mr. Michael J. Friese. Mr. Friese has a distinguished history as an instructor pilot for Embry Riddle and pilot for the US Government. His presentation will detail the aerodynamics of high angle of attack flight, speed stable and speed unstable regions, and inertial characteristics of spinning aircraft.  The practical application of this information towards everyday flying will also be discussed.

It affects things like visibility, aircraft lift, and even the technique used by a pilot when operating a plane. We will discuss those weather issues that can be incredibly dangerous for pilots!
