Study: How Does Chiropractic Help Headaches?

Exactly how does a chiropractic adjustment help a patient with headaches? What is the physiology? Is it safe?

#chiropractic   #headaches   #chiropracticadjustments
Headaches are one of the most common reasons people seek chiropractic care. Many patients with headaches benefit significantly from adjustments made to the upper cervical region. So, the question is, how does adjusting the neck help headaches? To help answer this question, let’s look at a study that was recently published that examined this exact …

Whiplash Treatment and The Inflammation Model

Research suggests that the underlying cause of all pain is inflammation. Gentle chiropractic adjustments reduce inflammation and restore motion.

Neck Pain and Cervical Disk Herniation

The terms, “…a slipped disk, a herniated disk, a ruptured disk, a bulging disk” (and more), all mean something similar, if not exactly the same thing. Chiropractic is a logical first treatment choice.

#herniateddisc   #chiropractic   #neckpain
Neck pain can arise from many sources. There are ligaments that hold bones to other bones that are non-elastic and very strong. When injured, the term, “sprain” is applied. The muscle and/or its attachment (the tendon) can tear as well, which is called a “strain.” But, what is it that people refer to when they …

Motor vehicle collision patient/passenger injury and clinical prognosis for recovery is not related to the damage of the vehicle. Learn why.

It is clear that automobile accident insurance company claim adjusters, automobile accident insurance company defense attorneys, and defense medical/chiropractic experts believe that an individual in a vehicle involved in a collision cannot be injured if the vehicle sustains only minimum structural damage. Yet, there is no doubt that individuals involved in minimum structural damage collisions …

This place is awesome! When I first came here, I was very intimidated by chiropracters but thought I would try this place out of desperation to fix my stiff neck and sore shoulder due to carpel tunnel. Dr. Davis was very patient with me and explained the tables, machines and adjustments in great detail and told me what to expect before performing them. After 20 visits I can finally lift my arm over my head. Dr. Davis has been practicing for many years and is very knowledgeable and professional. I also love the staff, especially Madeline. The office is conveniently located in my building and drop-ins are welcome, which is perfect if you have a busy schedule. You can also call and the staff will schedule an appointment for you. They have a great payment plan as well, and the visits are very affordable. I am paying out of pocket for my visits instead of using my Kaiser insurance because it is cheaper and more convenient. The office is also very clean and new. I have already recommended it to many people in my office.

I was in San Francisco on business and needed an adjustment really bad. I had spent the day sitting in a meeting and the bed I was sleeping on was not that great. The concierge in the hotel I was staying downtown told me about Executive Express and how you could just walk-in. Well, I have to say, the service was great. I only waited a few minutes and the doctor and staff were friendly and competent. A nice massage that was included and good adjustments to my back. I felt better immediately. Highly recommended and not expensive.

Came in today because of TMJD and related facial and ear pain. The staff is super friendly the wait was not long at all. The office is pretty darn classy too if ya ask me. Great experience! I'll definitely be back if I continue having problems!

This place is incredible! I am feeling much better than I was with another chiropractor. I have a herniated disc in my low back which cause lots of pain for about 6 months. They gave me better solutions than other clinics, and have really great non invasive technology like the DRX treatment and laser therapy. Also all of the staff are so nice! Definitely recommended!! :)

I travel a lot for business. Airport layovers, jet-lag and long flights in cramped, uncomfortable seats, wreak havoc on my back. I frequently fly in and out of San Francisco and always try to make a stop at Executive Express Chiropractic because they are absolutely first class. I have been using these guys for about 6 months now and they have become an essential part of my visits to San Francisco. I have benefited so much so, that my boss now pays for my trips to see them. The building is clean and bright. The customer service is wonderful and the Doctors are gentle and professional. I would absolutely recommend Executive to anyone with back pain.

Fast, professional, and personal service. Very relaxed atmosphere. Dr. Mike Wang and his staff are very attentive to my needs and always do a great job to relieve any tension and misalignment that I might have. You don't need a car accident or serious injury to benefit from this kind of treatment...I highly recommend paying a visit to this office even if it's just to discuss whether it's right for you.
Great food and service. We are fellow merchants at the Embarcadero Center and frequently order Pizza for staff meetings, parties, and special occasions. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.
