Me and my fiancé stayed at this hotel for a week last week and the only nice part about this hotel was the front desk guy but that was literally the only nice thing about this hotel. I had a cup of POG next to my bed the first night we stayed and I woke up to a cockroach in it. The second to last night I woke up to a freaking cockroach on my face! I killed it in the middle of the night and when we went out the next day I left it on the nightstand on a tissue for the maids to see and think they would throw it away and clean up better (this hotel has dishes that we used and when we would leave during the day and return at night the dishes were still dirty but the bed was made) THEY LEFT IT ON THE NIGHTSTAND!!! I know this sounds like a ridiculous story but I swear it is true. I work as a server and know when a person is complaining just to complain and when a person actually has a problem. In addition to paying 538$ I payed 183$ for resort fees and parking! I would not suggest this hotel to anyone!

We had a three bedroom suite for ourselves, our son and his wife, a three year old, and a fifteen year old, with two bathrooms. This is not a five star hotel, but we wanted to be economical, since we knew we would only be in the room to sleep, and didn't care about a pool or other amenities. It was fine for what we needed. The rooms were clean, there were plenty of towels, and it was only a few blocks from the beach. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Ewa is an excellent basic hotel for budget-minded travelers. It's two short blocks from the beach, half a block from the zoo, and near any number of restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. Sure, it could use new paint and the bureaus were a bit dinged up, but the bed was comfortable, the walls were relatively thick, the dorm fridge worked, the TV worked, and everything was clean and neat. I'd stay here again any time. The only thing it doesn't have is a pool, but did I mention two blocks from the beach? Great for the price.

Really disturbing in midnight . Noise can hear each other room . No free wifi and TV video . I stayed in this hotel 4 night from 30th July.

My family and I spent a couple days in this hotel while on vacation, and had a fairly good experience. Something to take note of if this is your first time visiting Honolulu is that parking is a nightmare. This isn't just about this hotel, but it was very noticeable. There were roughly ten parking spaces for the entire hotel, and they cost an additional $20 per day if you wanted to reserve one (first come first serve). Again, it seems like everywhere on the island followed that rule, but other hotels in the area definitely had larger parking garages to help ease that a bit. The rooms themselves were clean, and it was nice to have a fridge and stove for preparing a quick bite to eat if need be. When the AC was working, it kept the rooms nice and chilly, but after a power failure that affected the whole block, they wouldn't come on quite right again. Overall, we were just looking for a place to sleep while we did some sight seeing, so we never spent much time in the rooms. If that's the kind of thing you're looking for, then this is a pretty solid choice.

( I am a English Teacher from Japan. I can speak and understand Japanese really well.) October 1st, 2013 we arrived at the hotel. Next day (Oct. 2nd) we were talking to the Front desk lady. When we saw this Japanese girl hysterically crying. Someone (housekeeper or hotel staff) in the hotel stole 2 japanese passports, money and credit cards from their hotel room. A suspect it was hotel staff because the room was throughly cleaned but their cash and money was gone from their suitcases was NEATLY ARRANGED ( like a hotel maid). So it is easily to put 2 & 2 together... The japanese female tourists looked very young probably their first country. I felt bad for them but the asian front desk lady was laughing while they were waiting for the police. Was it an inside job ? Why was the asian front desk lady laughing so hard, WHY ? Why kind of hotel is this ? 5 days later, one of the front desk staff questioned an african american military man walking in the hotel lobby. The front desk man for some strange reason ONLY asked for his hotel room number ? The front desk man (John) didn't ask me or numerous hotel guests their room. Just the black guy ! ! ! I have never seen a hotel have some much problems than single out a black guy because he is big and works out. Plus he told me in the elevator his was in Iraq ???? Is this the way Ewa Hotel Staff treat african america military members ? Hahaha !!! Crazy hotel.. I rate this hotel zero.... Zero for security Zero for Front desk security and hotel maids stealing from
