For two weeks, all 6 of my players blue booked with me and the result was amazing. This is a example of good player participation. I only wrote about 40% of this, edited and proofed the rest.

=Desert Travel=

There are no rules in ACK for traveling through extreme environmental conditions. I put together theses test rules for traveling though extreme desert.

Thoughts? Opinions?

The weather in the valley is one of extremes, scorching hot and dry or warm and dry. The northern part of the valley sees about 1 inch of rain fall in a year, while the lower regions near the savanna may get 2 to 3 inches of rain in a year. Sometimes blinding sandstorms come roaring out of the northeast corner of the valley and sweep as far as the savanna.

=Weather=

There is a 1 in 12 chance on each day of travel through the desert that a sandstorm will coming rolling through which will cause the party to become lost.

This roll is made in addition to the normal roll for getting lost each day

=Travel=

Traveling through the desert is hard, force marching through the desert can be deadly.

Anyone wearing metal armor (including mounts in barding) traveling through the desert at their full pace counts as if they just forced marched.

If anyone forces marches through the desert, they must make a Save vs Poison, if they are wearing metal armor, they will suffer a -4 to save roll.

If they pass, they suffer the normal effects of a force march.

If they fail, In addition to the normal effects of a force march, they have suffered heat stroke and take 1d6 points of damage and suffer from delirium for 24 hours. If they attempt to travel the next day, they will suffer an additional 1d6 points of damage and at the end of the day must make Save. Vs Death.

If they pass this save, they will suffer delirium for another 24 hours.

If they fail, they will die as their brain cooks within their skulls.

Horses, ponies and donkey are also susceptible to the heat and for each day of a force march, there is a 1 in 6 chance the animal will die. It is 2 in 6 if they are wearing any kind of barding. It is 3 in 6 if it is metal barding.

Where can I find detail about the spell Tenebrosity*? It is listed in the BCK Spells Lists but it is not in either book.

High Volume Missile Fire @ PC's retinue

How do you all handle it? I have my own methods but I am curious what you all do.

Example: Party of 6 PC's, 6 NPC's, 12 Mounts, 4 Pack Animals, 2 Trained Animals, 2 Familiars.

32 unique targets with 8 Different AC

They are attacked by 3 Manticores who are strafing the party will fire 18 Spike for four rounds before they swoop in to engage in hand to claw.

How do you handle it?
