The benefits of dried beans and peas extend beyond satisfying hunger: They play a role in preventing chronic diseases, too.

For lunch, try a bed of lettuce with a 1/4 cup of brown rice topped with a 1/2 cup of rinsed canned beans of your choice. Then add your favorite light dressing - olive-oil based. (Reheat brown rice by draping it with a wet paper towel before placing in the microwave.) This healthy lunch is very satisfying.

How on earth can you recommend that people get flu shots?!  "Got your flu shot? Good, do it again next year."[https://wk106.infusionsoft.com/app/hostedEmail/4850200/4b9617da0c153d5a?inf_contact_key=31a0b0286326d28c363f55a94ce44872003f62917ab7ed8336d13ea4a4553995&inf_contact_key=591979915c5f2997a4581ee1a94794a2f199a250bef9cd910997a551711fa963 ]
My only friends who are foolish enough to inject these toxins directly into their blood stream have had horrible bouts of flu---and only took the shots because their health plan or work or another pressure gave an ultimatum.
I would have expected more common sense and sage advice from you.

One recommendation: Americans are encouraged to consume less than 10 percent of calories per day from added sugars. #nutrition #healthyeating   #everydayhealth
According to the government's new 2015 Dietary Guidelines, fruits and vegetables are key and lean meat is okay, but sugars should be limited.
