#Everton FC report:  QPR 1 Everton 2: Lennon Strikes As Blues Take Significant Step To Safety By @Markthablue

Such was the level of anger and  frustration I felt at the capitulation in Kiev, my first reaction to Everton’s trip to QPR was to hell with it

Of course this feeling changed as the game approached. You can’t switch off from supporting Everton, no matter how badly they hurt you…..

#Everton  FC Report: Everton 3 Newcastle 0: Back To Basics Never Felt So Good

By @Markthablue

Everton kept it simple and made life anything but for Newcastle

Back to basics never felt so good and to go with it, a run of the mill win to send us into the utopia of a Monday morning with no Everton hangover

All is not forgotten but any inquest should now be put aside until the summer.

Newcastle came to Goodison and we badly needed three points after Burnley had upped the diarrhea levels by beating Man City twenty-four hours earlier.

In a season submerged in negativity it was great to have a performance, and a result, were the visitors could have few complaints.

The blues finally recording a first home win since December. As Mr Brown shoes would say; it was incredible.

Everton 2 Dynamo Kiev 1: Rom Inspires as Blues fightback to defeat Kiev

By @Markthablue

What was this? Where did it come from? And why has it taken so long to see this fight?

But wait. The inquests can begin in the summer, for now, let’s keep it exactly the way it is.

For thirty minutes it looked like every other game that had gone before, sluggish, painfully slow build up and, after a belly-full of this all season – while I don’t endorse it – it was entirely expected that the atmosphere turned as toxic as it did midway through the first half.

Thankfully the crowd, seemingly on the verge of frenzy, saw a rejuvenated Everton snap out of there Premier League malaise in a testing first thirty minutes as the blues took a stranglehold against a solid if unspectacular Dynamo Kiev  at Goodison Park.

#Everton  FC Why Gareth Barry Is The New Steven Gerrard – A Spent Force

By @pbsportswriter +Paul Brown

Gareth Barry can’t play against Newcastle. This is probably a good thing

NOT just because at 34 it’s inevitable he would find it difficult to play so soon after Thursday’s morale-boosting comeback win over Dynamo Kiev.

Barry’s suspension means Roberto Martinez will almost certainly end up playing someone in the Everton engine room who is better suited to the job.

It’s sad to say, but Barry feels like the new Steven Gerrard. A once key player who has cost his side goals this season and is starting to look like a liability.

Enough of this #Martinezout nonsense that has been trending on Twitter and the general doom and gloom from social media kneejerkers.....

#Everton   Riding High Challenge For Everton in the Community

A Southport mum has dedicated a considerable amount of her spare time to raising funds for a charity close to her heart

Angie Booth, whose son Ollie has behavioural difficulties and plays football for one of Everton in the Community’s Disability teams, has been fundraising for the charity for over a year.

Not the most conventional of fundraisers, Angie organises a variety of challenges that not only tests her physical strength, but also her mental toughness.
