Data: ‘Silent Majority’ More Likely to Generate Positive Reviews by +Greg Sterling

It's important to have a preventive review strategy targeting that silent (and mostly satisfied) majority. People remember and share bad experiences better than good experiences.

Customer Lobby founder and CEO Ted Paff was one of our great speakers at LSA Bootcamp (for SMBs) in Charlotte, NC last month. Ted gave one of the more lively and popular talks of the day. It was called "Taking control of your online reputation." Among other things, Paff discussed handli

Etiquette in the Middle East – Need to know Travel Tips for Men and Women

When it comes to travel etiquette, there are places where you have to do a little more research before your flight.
The Middle East is one of those places. It has many traditions, rules, and customs that can sometimes be confusing.
Even though women have to think a lot about things like dress and behaviour, men must comply with many rules as well. Here are a few travel etiquette tips we learned from our travels to countries like Jordan, Morocco, Egypt and the Sudan.

I must admit is very dangerous.
Unfortunately some cities (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo...) in my country are very dangerous they have guns that army don't doesn't have.  Rifle .50, kalashnikovs, M16, all of them with red dots ...

How to Spot DoucheBags in 5 Simple Steps (pardon my french)
1-  They brown nose everyone and anyone who has any influence.
2-  They follow and manipulate many people to share their content before they make it big.
3-  Once they DO make it big,  they  proceed to unfolllow everyone who helped them get there except for those they believe they can still use.
4-  They gather information from REAL experts then spew it out at conferences as if they came up with it themselves without attributing the original sources.
5 - They mislead the masses because they really are NOT experts so a lot of what they say is simply not true, but it will help them achieve their goal of making more sales.
Blessings always =)

must obtain the approval of a special parliamentary commission.

"whether the collection of this [meta]data is consistent with the restrictions outlined in Germany's surveillance laws is a question that divides legal experts."

"special parliamentary commission"

Where is the decision? Must be ... let me see a judge decision? Parliamentary can't assume this position.
This is totally illegal... Divides experts? They should protect the Constitution!
The principle of checks and balances debunked! Executive, Judiciary and Legislative must regulate what they are doing but as we know they will not  protect us from what they are doing and from what we don't know.
Germany is ops was an example of constitutional principles this is shameful!

How to Instantly Have 8,082,015 Followers On Google+
The one trick all the gurus aren't telling you about!

Made you look.

For those who don't know what's actually happening in this animated GIF below, I'm simply using the Inspect Element feature of +Google Chrome to manipulate the page and insert anything I want.

It doesn't affect anything besides what I see on the page. As soon as the page is reloaded, that number goes back to what it actually is.

This is roughly how meaningful a follower count is without a targeted social media strategy. Worthless. Just a number on a page. Something that you can look at and feel validated (if that's what floats your boat).

This fun little joke came to me as I'm writing my next blog post for about how meaningless vanity metrics can be. In that post I'll be attempting to identify what I believe to be the most meaningful metric on social media.

Care to be notified as soon as that post comes out? Let me know in the comments below and I'll add you to my notification circle so you know about it right away.
