Frustrated by the lack of books about black girls in her school curriculum, Marley Dias launched this campaign to collect 1000 books where black girls are the main characters. The #1000blackgirlbooks project is her BAM social action project for 2016. Books will be donated to Retreat Primary and Juni

So, an old cop is murdered and a couple of genius twins bring him back to life, but young and strong.  And he tries to reconcile with his FBI agent son by helping him solve murders.

Another series that hits my sweet spot, Sci-fi murder mysteries.

Give it a try.
Season 1, Episode 1 - SERIES PREMIERE. A disgraced ex-sheriff is thrown to his death but gets a second chance at life as a younger, better version of himself.

A funny episode.  But also satirical, and sweet at the end.
Season 10, Episode 3 - When a dead body is found in the woods, Mulder and Scully are called in to investigate whether it was an animal attack, a serial killer or just maybe a strange creature as described by eyewitnesses.

"Until lately, however, the activity of the businessman has always been questioned as to its moral rightness. The formulation of this doubt has been the negative or critical premise upon which every developed moral system and every cultured religious system has been founded. The new fact, therefore, in what is called modern civilization, is the acceptance of business activity as morally honorable, the approval of the capacities and the characteristics of the businessman, and the assumption that these capacities are appropriate for rule and control of human affairs."

Years ago, in a store in New York that specialized in Alchemy, Eastern Religions, Theosophy, Mysticism, Magic, and Witchcraft, I remember coming across a book called *How to Become Invisible* that I realized would make a perfect birthday present for a friend who was on the run from a collection agency trying to repossess his car. It cost fifteen cents, which struck me as a pretty steep price considering the quality of the contents. What made thes...

Hmmm.  Luci can be very mean when he gets mad.
Season 1, Episode 2 - When a movie star's son is killed after being chased by the paparazzi, Chloe takes a deep look into the case with a little help from Lucifer.

This is fascinating!  I love this kind of gender bending.

Introduction
I'm getting a lot of teachers in my circles.  I'm not a professional teacher myself but I come from a family of teachers. My dad was a college Professor of Linguistics, German, and Translation. My mom taught English as a Second Language in the public schools.  My primary area of interest is Sociology of Religion and Social Change. And I'm a lifelong learner.

This is my favorite restaurant! If you want real Chinese food order off the Szechwan menu. The "Chinese" menu has all the standard fare for un-adventurous Americans, all the things you can get at any Chinese take out in America. And it is perfectly good American Chinese food but the Szechwan menu has the real stuff, like beef tripe, pork intestines, jelly fish, and frog. I've tried them all. The hot chili warnings are not kidding. I have been working my way through the Szechwan menu. Some of my favorites are: Fish Filet w. Special Tofu In Hot Pot (the best tofu I have ever had), Crispy Chicken w. House Special Sauce (what sweet and sour chicken should be), Beijing Duck, and the Scallion Pancake Rolled w. Beef (four little beef sandwiches). The only items on the Szechwan menu that have not impressed me are a some of the soups. I recommend the Sliced Fish w. Sour Cabbage Soup if you can take the heat, and the Angelica Lamb Soup if you can take the bitter angelica root. Try the bubble tea, it comes with Popping Boba, tapioca pearls, or fruit jelly. And you can get it as an ice slush.
