I have been frequenting European Flair for a few years now. Most of the staff is excellent, but Tess far surpasses any other stylist I've ever seen anywhere. My hair is always perfect, and exactly the way I want it. I've had pedicures, manicures, highlights, low lights, all over color, and just a basic cut. I would highly recommend European Flair for anything from your basic style to something for a special event!

I made an appointment a week in advance of a special event and on the day I was supposed to come in, they called and informed me another customer had "added an additional service" to THEIR appointment so they had to reschedule mine. (I would have thought some kind of discount on my appointment would be called for, but none was offered). I had no other time available so had to make an appointment over my lunch break from work. Since I now had to go to and from work instead of home my drive was at total of 40 miles but I arrived on time and waited over 20 minutes into my 30 minute appointment before finally letting them know there was no way I could possibly keep my appointment because I needed to return to work. Again, no offer of compensation and not even an apology - I thanked them for their time and left. I will not be making at third attempt. I do not recommend visiting this salon - there are plenty others closer to downtown with more respect for their customers time.

Although we have no record of your appointments or visit, we will respond to your statements. European Flair has a long history of serving their customers with great care. If by any chance you would have been contacted by our service team, it would have been as a courtesy only to advise of a delay in service. Anytime you work in a service related business, situations may arise that cause a delay in subsequent services. We strive to be on time and efficient with our time as well as our customers . Our loyal customers are very aware of our standard of excellence in customer service as well as their skills in their trade. I just love going to European Flair. Their professionalism, is outstanding. I feel very welcomed when I go there for services whether I'm getting a $15.00 wax, or a $200.00 spa package. I would highly recommend this salon.

I first found out about European Flair when I found a coupon in the Beaver County Times claiming that you could receive a color, cut, and splash of highlights for only $65. I was thrilled when I looked online and saw all the raving reviews claiming this salon is the best of the best! I quickly made myself an appointment. I arrived and was greeted by an employee. She took me to my chair and offered me a drink. I requested water. The employee came back and handed me a glass full of warm tap water from the bathroom sink. It wasn't truly a big deal but I expected more. Another worker came over and told me what color she'd be dyeing my hair. I literally had no say in it. The owner of the salon, Constantina, came over and introduced herself and said she'd be doing my hair. I was excited because I knew it would be done right because this was her business on the line. I THOUGHT WRONG. She got hair dye all over my head, face, elbows, neck, and back. I requested light blonde highlights to go with my brunette hair. She waited until they were a caramel brown and claimed the only reason people have light blonde highlights is because they sit out in the sun. I am by no means a professional hair dresser. However, I am also not dumb and I know that the longer you leave the highlight dye/foils on, the lighter they will be. It upset me that she was in a rush to finish my hair when she, as the owner, should have been taking her time to achieve the look that a paying customer was seeking. I then showed her a picture of bangs that I aspired to have. The look was an eye-length choppy style bang. Before I knew it, a great pile of my hair was falling to the floor. She literally started the bang clear back at the middle of my head. It was short and I knew right away that I would be pulling back my bangs every single day until it grew out. I believe that she knew she messed it up and quickly left, claiming that she had a facial to give. Another worker took her position and straightened my hair. She styled my bangs to the incorrect side which looked awful because they laid on my head wrong. After five hours of being at the salon, it was time to leave. My bill came to $30 more than I expected because they had to use extra dye. If you have anything more than a dyke spike, you WILL be paying extra. All in all, I wanted to expose this salon for what it really is: an expensive place full of employess who do not give a damn what you would like your hair to look like. They just want your money. I am thoroughly disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere.

I went to this spa to get an advertised special. It included a haircut, a splash of highlights, and eyebrow waxing for $60. When I got there the stylist asked me if I wanted highlights and lowlight, I told her highlights and she said she thought lowlights would look nice, too. I asked her if it was included with the $60 and she said yes we can do it however you want. I told her it was fine then. To make a long story short, I was charged $80 when I went to leave. I explained to the owner that I was told it wouldn't be anymore and she told me the girl was new and didn't know. Needless to say I had to pay the $20 for 2 extra highlights. I don't know what kind of business ethics the owner has but she needs some lessons. She was very rude and even said she told me on the phone it was extra and I never even talked to her. I will never again go to this place it is a huge ripoff, and I don't even like my hair! I have told this to everyone I know and have heard some similiar stories....obviously she doesn't care about her customers.
