You talk about Italy like it was a"normal" country ... let me say some things about Italy that maybe you don' know:
- Italy ows 2 Canadair that are half paid by Europe, they have been used during last big fire in Portugal, because EU pays, but EU ask to use them in other EU countries when needed. I think same thing is valid for Canadairs from France.
- Fires in Italy are most in the south of country, where there are dozen of thousands of persons paid to do nothing, pretending they are a kind of "civil forest workers".
- Most of fires are arsons, caused on purpose by the same pseudo-workers
- Only in a single region, Calabria, there are 11.000 person supposed to work to protect the 6.500 square kilometers of woods. (In Canada there are 3.000 persons for 400.000 sq.kilometers)
- Last fire on Vesuvio mountain was done by mafia because the state was going to destroy or seize all buildings there because construction was illegal.
- Then the fact I told before, that Italy forest service has 32 helicopters , and 28 of them are stuck on the ground, unusable only for stupidity.5d
