**The Ramanujan Prize**is awarded annually to a researcher from a developing country who is less than 45 years of age and who has conducted outstanding research in a developing country. The Prize is funded by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India (DST). It is administered jointly by the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), the International Mathematical Union (IMU), and the DST. The deadline for receipt of nominations is 1 February 2018. Nominations are made through the online system.https://e-ramanujan.ictp.it/nominator

**6th Heidelberg Laureate Forum**

The 6th Heidelberg Laureate Forum will take place in Heidelberg, Germany, 23 – 28 September 2018. All winners of the Fields Medal, the Abel Prize, the ACM A.M. Turing Award, the Nevanlinna Prize, and the ACM Prize in Computing are invited to attend (and many of them do). Young, talented computer scientists and mathematicians are also invited to apply for participation.

Applications for participation at the 6th HLF are open in three categories: Undergraduates, PhD Candidates, and PostDocs. Online application and further information is available at www.application.heidelberg-laureate-forum.org
